Since Eldora has the Dream this weekend and Waynesfield is not racing, I wanted to mention to any mods and stocks that want to race that Montpelier is racing this Saturday. Modifieds will have their make up feature from last week's rain shortened program in addition to the regular program of UMP Modifieds, Street Stocks (Eldora/Lima Stocks) Thundercars, and Mod-lites. With only a few races left for the mods and stocks on Eldora's schedule, Montpelier would provide a great place to race on Saturday nights. A few of the Eldora/Lima cars came to the first race this season and several races at the end of last season. The rules are written to allow both UMP Street Stocks and Eldora/Lima stocks. So far this season in the win column its been UMP Stocks 3, Eldora/Lima Stocks 2. It would be great to see a lot more of them come back to Montpelier again.

If you're looking for a place to race this Friday (July 9th) Montpelier would be a great place to go. The promotor has raised the payout for both mods and stocks. UMP Modifieds will pay $600 to win, and stocks will pay $400 to win. No racing at Lima Friday so if you still want to race come join guys like Tony Anderson and Todd Sherman at Montpelier.

This Saturday July 17th: UMP Modifieds will pay $600 guaranteed, and $1,000 if there are 40 cars. Super Stocks will pay $300 guaranteed, and $400 if there are 20 cars. No racing at Waynesfield, Lima, or Eldora for either of those classes. This is another great opportunity to visit Montpelier with a chance to take home some extra cash.
