I had a nice night at the track last night!
I got to spend the night with my dad...I bought his way in for Father Day..., and got to see some great racing action.
I was hoping for a wet/heavy track, but that wasn't the case (apparently the track crew was leery of the 'possible afternoon storms' forcast) and if the breeze would have been from a different direction, it would have been nasty in the stands.....
I hope the people that were involved in the mini-sprint crash are all OK. That was a wicked and hard set of flips/crashes that those folks rode out!
It was nice to see so many non-wing sprinters there, they are worth the price of admission by themselves. What a great sprint car feature!!
Plus, I got to see and talk with some ol' racing buddies of mine, and catch up on the present...and talk about the 'old times'

I'm glad you & your family had a good time. All of the racing was really good as usual. I told Matt Twining that I was very impressed with his win from the tail. That race alone was worth the price of admission. If I remember right, I think there was a yellow at the start of the truck feature. Then they restarted and ran the whole race under green didn't they? One heck of a job by all of our "Truck Drivers."

Thanks Kenny, I wish we had a caution though. Maybe I would have been able to figure out who was leading and I wouldn't have had to look like a fool and ask the infield guys, "Hey, Who Won?"

I told "Pops", I never saw the checkers and since all the lapped guys were still running I just kept diggin. I sure felt like a fool but man was it soooo much fun to drive the best handlin truck I have ever been in. It was takin everything I could throw at it, couldn't have happened at a better time since I had to spin out in the heat and start so far back.Yea, I even told you guys nice rae on the raceceivers and you all ran an extra lap........once the addrenaline is flowing it's hard to stop!
Very impressive Matt!
