“$3k payday as the Three State Flyers Invade Hesston Speedway on Independence Day, Sunday, July 4th”[size="3"]

The Super Late Models will make their first appearance at the newly updated and still improving Hesston Speedway. With the All-Star series at Central PA Speedway on Saturday night, we should have a great field for the $3,000 check. Some of the drivers will include DJ Myers, Jason Covert, Nick Dickson, and Jack Pencil. Drivers will be awarded $300 to take the green.

Also on the grid are the Limited Late Models to compete in their 2nd showdown event of 2010 with the top prize of $1,000. Each driver that signs in will receive 30 show points. Street Stocks, Hobby Stocks, and the 4-cylinder Mini Stocks will also be competing for additional monies. Special thanks goes to the Williamson’s for sponsoring the 4-cylinder class by allowing them to battle it out for the highest payday in Hesston history, a $1,000 top prize. The drivers of the Street Stock and Hobby Stock divisions will also receive 30 show points.

Gates will open at 3pm with a drivers meeting at 5:30 and racing will begin at 6pm. General Admission is $15 with ages 10-18 only paying $5. Pit admission is $25. Also, additional space is now open on the outside of turn ¾ for camping purposes during the event as well as overflow spectator parking.

We would also like to welcome any traveling teams to feel free to arrive late Saturday/early Sunday as our pit area on the outside of turn ½ will be open. There will be wash capabilities as well as a full set of scales in the tech building for any driver to use to get ready for our spectacular event. The outside pit are will hold the Super Late Model entries only, however any traveling team is invited to show up early. There will not be any access for any other class to cross the track until the gates open at 3pm. Any campers attending the event are also more than welcome to arrive early.

Dave Eriksen and the entire speedway staff are looking forward to some of the best dirt action around. As always, remember our motto - “Go Fast, Turn Left, and Hang On ‘til the Checkered Flies”.
