If you go to the Indian Lake current website can read a pretty sweet write up on page B1 and B6 about Saturday nights race. This is the kind of press that WRP needs. WRP has and is doing some awesome things for the racers and fans. Can't wait to see ya at the field :P

Because I don't send my name out with it. I get accused of being an egomaniac enough on here.

Hell Gerry.....everyone knows you are an egotistic announcer...lol Just kidding buddy. Oh wait you might be like Matt and say I'm not your friend =) In all seriousness, that was a very well written article. Almost as good as your announcing.

I trained Gerry well, didn't I ??? Just joking...LOL Gerry does a very good job doing all the write ups & press releases. It is nice that some of you notice his hard work and give some credit to him with the "thank you." Usually that is a "thankless" job and most of the comments directed towards the writer are only to point out a mistake/misspelled word or somebody whining that the results weren't posted soon enough to suite somebody that didn't want to buy a ticket and see what happened at the races. We all have been guilty of it at some point!! We missed a race and we still want to know the results ASAP. Then it can be real easy to forget that the writer might have another part of his life that needs some attention after a long day and night working at the racetrack. I am telling you all from experience....it does feel good to hear a "thank you" every now and then. Thank you Gerry!! Very nice job!!

I sent Kenny's victory lane photos with the story to all of the news outlets. Not sure why they weren't used.

You do a really good job. Your articles get printed in the Wapak Daily News.

Any chance you'll be getting that speaker down near the 4th turn back in action. It hasn't worked for quite a while now. A lot of us down there don't buy 50/50 tickets because we can't hear the numbers. Only know when the National Anthem is playing because everyone is standing up in the main stands.

Golly sure don't like this no racing stuff tonight. Thought about organizing lawn mower races in the neighborhood!! lol

I will be at the track early on the 24th to hopefully get all of the speakers working. Can't promise, but will do my best to have it working for you.
