No, they got more than half the show in and the rest of the features will be on other nights. There website gives the details and the dates

well then dean needs to stop charging once the a main starts.... I had to work last night and made it to the track just in time to see them push off the 360s for the a and i paid 30 for me and the old laid to watch the one race..... come on dean!!!!

That is the same policy that you will find at almost any race track you go to. After all preliminary races (heats, b-mains, etc.) are complete it is considered a complete show, no refunds or rain checks. If you stop charging once the A-main starts people will wait to come in until that time so they do not have to pay. It's a bummer that you paid and only got to see one race, but it stinks when the weather creates these situations. It isn't the fault of the track.

I started to post the same thing earlier, There would be all kinds of people waiting outside until the features start to get in. It was just a bad judgement call to come in at that time with the weather being the way it was. Its one of those calls damed if you do damed if you dont. Youy cant blame any track for doing it that way there are tons of people who do it to save a buck and think they are getting away with it. With the economy the way it is 30 bucks is still 30 bucks in your pocket or the tracks pocket.

I think pretty much everybody that was there pretty much knew by the time the 360's rolled off that they weren't going to get the whole show, you could watch that storm roll in, if by chance you listened to the radio there were flood warnings out for Auglaize County so I think to go in right before the feature with all this said was a big risk. Some of the tracks we have been to say no refund after the first green flag lap. I can see their point of no refund after the heat races were over and even one feature done before the rain hit.
By the way Skip missed you last night your gate look bare just sitting there chained and locked just wasn't the same!!

I didnt want to miss last night but had 2 family issues to deal with. But maybe the rain worked in my favor, but not for those that decided to go racing and watching. Hope to make it next week dont like missing a show i enjoy working that gate get to meet a lot a nice people.

WHY WOULD YOU PAY $30 DOLLARS TO WATCH THE FEATURES WHEN EVERYONE KNEW THERE WAS RAIN IN THE AREA. SHOULD HAVE TAKING THE WIFE OUT FOR A BIGHT TO EAT OR SOMETHING. IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN THAT WAY PAY TO WATCH TRY GOING TO ELDORA,LIMA LATE AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS YOU WILL PAY OR STAND OUTSIDE

i didnt care about the money it was the fact that dean told me though S@#$ on the fact that i came in well next time i can go to a diffrent track i will.... personally i cant wait for someone eles to get the track....

Thats kinda where I'm parked. Why show up that late given the weather conditions? I've done it before, but probably wouldn't have done it that night....
Play your card rights, we go to Lima a lot, but we ALWAY go the week after a rain out. Double features for $12!!
In fact the ONLY race I've ever been to that gave a cash refund was Eldora this year after their USAC melt down over Easter. That is the ONLY time thats ever happened. Expecting money back from a track is like expecting a stripper to give you change for a $20......

Love the stripper comparison lol. but we went down to the kings royal this year and had a couple people show up just for the party we were having afterwards, when they got there the first feature was just hitting the track and there was no one at the gate watching so they walked right in for free and they said they werent the only ones that were walking right in. The people that camped right beside us walked up for the features cuz they were there just to party friday night. So i dont know if it happens every week or not but i know at the royal they were letting people in for free right before the features started. Not into the pits but into the grandstands (just figured i would throw that in there)

Dont no what gate you were at but turn 4 had gate people. I can't believe no one on gates when they have that no beer or mixed drinks in or out the gates while bar is open. Someone is lying to you.

i walked in with them (although i had a ticket) and we walked right through the turn 4 gate and right to where the chairs were set up. Not one eldora employee was standing at that gate. So no no one is lying to me cuz i walked right in with them

I told u i walked in with them the first time when i said they walked in i was referring to my buddies that didnt have a ticket the rest of us that had tickets. I knew we would be fine but wasnt sure they were going to be able to get in. I love how i completely prove you wrong and instead of admitting it you try to find a way to reverse it on me and make me look like the idiot.

No where in this statement does it say you were with them. I guarantee it didn't happen. The security at eldora is tighter now than I can ever remember. The only way they walked right in is if it was after the 410 feature.

believe what u wanna believe i was there we all walked in right through the turn 4 gate without being stopped or anything. Walked right through the gate got to our seats and watched both features. Im sure both of you were standing at the gate though talking to the security guards the whole night and thats how you know no one walked in
