Can somebody tell me how the lineup was determined for the stock "Select" race on Friday? I guess what I'm really asking is what cars were allowed in the race and who wasn't? I thought that it used to be only the top 20 in points were in it. The odd # points guys were in one qualifying race and the even # points guys were in the other qualifier race. Is it still done like that? (Or I may be wrong and it never was) I figured that is why Barney wasn't in it since he hasn't been running Lima all year. But I can't figure out why #7b Bowen was not in the race because he has to be near 1st in points. Can anybody fill me in? What did I miss? Other fans sitting around me in the stands were confused about it too.

Tim bowen had a hole in the oil pan again after the feature and elected to scratch from the Select
