Montpelier is still on for tonight. I won't be able to make it tonight, but I would suggest calling the track at (765) 728-8210 for the latest information. A friend of mine that works at the track said they have been working the track in since noon and should be able to race tonight. Last chance for mods to tune up before the $1,000 to win race next weekend.

Congrats Anderson and Lewis. Tony Anderson is a very dominant competitor. His driving is tremendous and him and his crew must put alot of time in in the week to keep up on the cars. From the start of the season to now his mod has become a very strong contender wherever it goes. If I am thinking correctly he pretty much has the stock championship locked up at Limaland Speedway. He is also 3rd or 4th in the points there in the mod. Very impressive season.

nice to see stock count was up to 17 last week. if montpelier pays a little better throughout the field more racers might make the haul. 300 to win is great but the other 16 cars are whats payin the purse. not sayin anything bad bout this track cause raing is solid. and your out at a good time. bathrooms and food leave alot to be desired but that will come in time I am sure.

I do beleive there will be improvements to come in the future years of the track. As for the pay outs goes. Once you have a steady base of cars coming on a weekly basis, then you can increase your pay out. Not having that, you will only cut your own throat. I hope to see alot more of the Eldora stocks and mods start going to Monpelier. Than again, Eldora dont really inspect the stocks at all. Everytime I hae been there they just scale at the end of the race, and yes I have seen with my own eyes certain cars be UNDER weight and they still wave them on. SO IF ANYONE IS READING THIS GO TO MONTPELIER. The more the steady flow of cars the more pay and possibly the MORE of bigger payout races than can be brought to the track.
