In a direct response to Shady Bowl Speedway's underhanded attempt to pay bonuses to drivers to come from other tracks, Waynesfield Raceway Park is pleased to announce that on Saturday September 4th, the JR and Sons Service Center Compacts will be racing for $300 to win, and $50 to start the A Main. This increase in purse in thanks to Frazier's Garage in Ridgeway Ohio and JR and Sons Service Center in Jackson Center, Ohio. This increase in purse is for ANY driver from ANY track that wants to race under Waynesfield Compact rules. This big event for the Compacts is in addition to an already special night as the 2nd Annual "Racing For Kids With Cancer Toy Drive" will take place this night as well. Anyone who brings a new toy to be donated to the Nationwide Childrens Hospital in Columbus Ohio will receive a free hot dog or drink from the WRP concession stand, and will also be entered into a drawing for one of several gift baskets of items donated from local businesses. The Lee's Hydraulics Non Wing Sprints, Post Agri-Service UMP Modifieds, and Miracle Motorsports Tuff Trucks will also be in action. Don't miss out on this great night of racing on Saturday September 4th! General Admission $12 for ages 16 and up, $6 for ages 11 to 15, and kids 10 and under get in FREE! Pit passes $25 for all ages. Pit gates open at 4pm, Grandstand Gates open at 5pm, Hot laps at 6:15PM, Racing at 7pm.

Shady Bowl hasn't paid for the compacts at all. They just give trophies. But still charge you to race, money in pocket. Actually the only classes, mods and above make any money. Besides it's asphalt.
