It was nice to see the UNOH crew and the driver 01-Chris Puskas at waynesfield . He did one heck of a nice job finishing 3rd in the mod feature. That was a good field of mods to finish 3rd. I hope they do make a return back to run their mod.

I have to agree, for once not involved in having someone have to fix there car because of a screw up on the part of the UNOh cars, though the stock car unoh cars tore up alot more of people's equipment than the mod drivers did!

Give it up people ive seen vets doing as much damage. remeber a winer that got booed? The kid did a nice job sat night point blank. Unoh has done a lot a things that people dont know about maybe your just mad because its a young kids trying to learn some thing. its called racing and stuff happens. Ive seen a lot a rookies out of control and getting in the way but because you proably dont like who owns the track you want to trash them. Im done with it racing at lima is done for the yr maybe you should get a car and we can see how you will do. Have a nice day bashing is trashing and you are doing just as much damage on here as some one would do on the track. Have a nice day.

Sorry Skip, but here goes - #1 Those Vets that screw up PAID their way, these college kids DID NOT!!! #2 Young kids (That Want To Drive) can learn at the race track WITHOUT high $$$$ equipment, Like we all had too by walking around the pits and ASKING Questions (In This Sport - ROOKIES are HANDS-ON LEARNERS, REMEMBER???)!!! I can think of alot of successful examples without high $$$ stuff - so don't get me started! #3 Stuff DOES happen, but in my opinion I don't believe it should be happening the way that it is and that is why I think that the program doesn't teach them (AGAIN Talkin Bout Drivers Here) Squat, I think it spoils them, just like all these Air-conditioned High Schools that look like the "Tash ma hall" that they are building and are Taxin the crap out of us for- which in my opinion is completely unnecessary!! Oh this program is great for pit crews and technicians in the sport, but not for drivers and that is why everyone dislikes this crap, DRIVERS need to PAY their DUES, Race Driving Schools are a joke and a waste of $$$ for the average Joe!!! And as far as not liking who owns the track, I don't really think that people have a problem with him, It is the fact that he hired an all out butthead to run it!!! And with his reputation in Lima Ohio, maybe it is time for RACE FANS to SPEAK UP, and quit bein lazy???? Whada Think There SKIP?????????? JMO

Oh and By the Way Skip - WEE as drivers ALWAYS DID GET A CAR AND SEEN HOW WEE drivers WOULD DO!!! On Our OWN!!! My Whole Point !!! Leave the schooling to the crews!

You cannot teach a driver, because he always races alone and he always makes his own decisions!!!!!!

Im sorry this is a worthless point of view of some who had to fight their way up and some who have a golden chance to sit behind a wheel of a race car. You know there are proably some drivers out there that had a rich parent or some one with money that is giving the same chance as these students. The only ones i know who really had to fight their way up was the guys of the 50,s and 60,s who would sleep in the back of their trucks and had to race to have some money to eat on. This is nothing but sour grapes on some one who doesnt like the idea that they never had some one to put a race car under them. Its very easy to sit behind a pc and trash some one with a screen name. If these students were to be given time to practice then we would have some back again complaining about the having a unfair advantage. This is a foolish post i wish i wouldnt of started it ,its funny that when anyone else does a good job at a race track some night and some one posts a job well done where are all the nay sayers. I think the only problem here is some one hiding behind a screen name has a beef with UNOH. I would have to say a X-usac driver is proably a better teacher than any of you. Im done with it the season is over at lima, take your problem to the people who support and pay for these students to drive. Got a problem take it to the man and talk it over with them . As for my original post Nice job 01-Chris Puskas . Hope to see you back at WRP next week. , By the way if your a driver we would like to know who you are so we can watch a vet in action and the students can learn from you.. By the way im done with it have a nice day.

The UNOH car/driver situation isn't any different than a young driver with a Daddy that has bottomless pockets. Maybe they aren't the best drivers out there but @ least they are getting an oppurtunity....PLUS @ least they are going to school and doing something to prepare themselves for the future. I'm glad that I'm not paying for their food stamps. It should be up to the "veterans" just as much to keep their noses clean when racing with these young guys. If you've been driving a stock car for "X" amount of years and decide to run wheel to wheel with a kid that has drove twice.... Well, think about it. Quit complaining. With the low car counts, you should feel glad to see extra cars @ the track
jesus for president!

one last parting shot-the fellows who stick up for the college drivers don't own work on or drive race cars. I do all of the above and must admit they didn't hit me once all season. I was the the only one I bet. I do race clean but let them drive me like they do everybody else and we will see who gets taken to school. I have have to fix my car, that requires my own money and time..wish these guys had to do just one week what the rest of us do every week. its a great program but the kids need to be taught respect on the track..done and good bye

There is alot of good points being made. To be specific the students do pay there way. Have you ever seen what the tuition cost is now a days? It is a great program. Yes the college drivers are young and have very little experience. If there that terrible as some of you say, then why are some of them winning races??? Just a question. Hey dirt track maniac, did they not hit you cause you ran in the back all the time? For your information they do work on there own cars during the week. Yes it may be at the college but they are the ones doing the work. The program that UNOH has is a great learning experience and a tremoundous advantage for alot of those kids to get jobs in say NASCAR, which some have. Or even open there own business doing chassis. Everyone makes mistakes. Answer me one question dirt track maniac, when you started to drive did you ever make a mistake or were you perfect? YES I do know I did when I use to drive. I made rookie mistakes, but I learned from them. My days are over driving but I still enjoy some good racing and even trading some paint. Have a great day.
