The 02 race team takes a sweep at sportman speedway this past sunday, winning both outlaw stock and pure stocks. The rising rookie Jace the super ace Ferringer gets his second feature win. Will this be a repeat sunday at tri-city?
Unfortunately not. Tonight at Tri City rookie Jace Ferringer led every lap of the Pure Stock feature at the Applefest, only to be disqualified on grounds of possession of an aluminum intake.

sad thing is aluminum intake will really do nothing for the car yeah it keeps the car cooler, and lighter, weigh the car still makes weight? and what about the headers that were being ran along with half the cars out there are illegal. I dont care what anyone says the rookie has it dialed in with that car, no one can argue that.Unfortunately not. rules are rules, and if you get caught cheating that is your problem. If people would stay within the rulesto all the cry baby thundercar drivers sunday night you wonder why they dropped your class .you get beat and you cry .because you got beat by a teenager
these classes would not be out of hand like they are.And tracks need to start looking at cars before they are
even get on the track, that may give someone that stays in the rules a better chance to win.

9racer u need too calm down and relax its out of hand due to the tracks negligence to actually put the time into the rules and ot thouroughly process the rules. The rules are there yes but look at what was done to him at tri city aluminum intake or headers id say headers are much more of an advantage the rules are not updated or thoroughly thought out. And at mercer the top two cars got dqd for the same thing and both had no clue that their valve springs are illegal. Id like to see you go out and take jace on not a person in this area as of now and from the end of knox's race season till mercer can touch the kid. hes fast smoothe and good. 9racer u cant argue that. Look at the rules and look at the cars i guarantee u can tear every single car down and something is not to the rules. the rules need to be more precise and updated u go to these shows and the rules are unclear, and many times the track makes the decision on the spot. He won friday and not a word was said he wins sat and people cry when the KID goes out and does work. Tracks are at fault for the rules yes theres obvious ways to cheat but when drivers and even engine builders have a hard time knowing what is legal and what isnt that comes down to the tracks fault not the driver. U cant take a thing away from the kid.rules are rules, and if you get caught cheating that is your problem. If people would stay within the rules

First of all,i am calm and not upset,I do not even know this kid,nor did i ever here of him. And i agree with you that the tracks need to focus on reinforcing their rules,9racer u need too calm down and relax its out of hand due to the tracks negligence to actually put the time into the rules and ot thouroughly process the rules. check all the cars before they even race.I am not saying to tear engines down, just look for cast or alluminum intakes and look to see what carb is on the motor, and exhaust manifolds or headers. I am sure this kid is very good and i congratulate him on his win friday. All i was saying is if you get caught, you get caught.
Their rules for the strickly stocks said stock firewalls, floors, intake, and exhaust manifolds. I saw a 3 digit car there with late model interior and they did not say
anything about it,so that proves that they do not check cars.

so no one really is getting caught for anything it just comes down to who you are. I agree it says stock bodies and firwalls but they def do not enforce that. The sad part is they gave him the win fri with out an issue but sat they decide to tear down the engine. Tracks need to be consistent in their tech if he won one night then why take the next awak, when both the top two cars finshed the same way.First of all,i am calm and not upset,I do not even know this kid,nor did i ever here of him. Im frends with jace and dave ferringer and we called tricity and they said that he was aloud to run with the alluminum headers and they said that they will let anyone race with them so they screwed him over
