Are they bringing in any temporary seating forthis, or the bigger events in the future? If people don't think there will be a place to park their asses, they just won't show up, i.e. the Speedweek race. I've been to this race when it was held elsewhere, and the car count and crowd were impressive. Just hope WMP is not setting itself up for future low attended, big name events by booking these types of races without having the seating and other amenities the fans want and expect. Or else it will kill the track, and potentially the events.

I heard there was a $10,000 to win mod race elsewhere in Ohio a month or so ago and there were only 36 cars that showed up. I hope we get at least double that many!!

I think the race you are talking about was the Harley race at Brushcreek that paid $10,000. They had 51 cars. The bigger paying races seem to draw more of the big name drivers but not necessarily a lot higher car count. That race was at a time in the season when a lot of tracks are still racing, and most of the lower budget guys won't leave their home track. There are also guys that would stay at their home track if they were running for points. Most tracks are done with points by now.
