Ok to be honest, will WRP have the car count they want Saturday? Lets see Lawrencburg is running a 2500 to win show and its there last points race. Plus there are multiple tracks who have there last points race tonight. Not enough cars will equal drop in payouts. I already know of a couple locals going to Montpelier. If you dont make the show at WRP what do you get? If you do make the show and pending on where you place at Montpelier what do you get? Just weight the options. Will be interesting the turn out for the BIG DAWG though. Good luck to all that goes.

No Hoosier its not the tracks fault but maniac must think so.. just commenting on Maniacs comment that anyone who doesen't want to get tore up should go to Mountpileup. You can get tore up anywhere, thats why we didn't race in the Bear Wick and are saving the car for the Big Dawg.

DTF4L The payouts are on WRP's website and doesn't mention a drop in payouts if X amount of cars show up and AK1 who works at WRP has posted on Waynesfield forum that car count is not a factor in the payout. So it seems to me with these other shows going on it will help the locals have a better chance of making the show. Let's figure this out Montpilier payout on there website 1st $600 2nd $300 13th $80 14th $70 20th $50 tow money $20. Big Dawg 1st $5000 2nd $2000 $300 to start feature Tow money $75. Boy I hope your not a financal Planner. Bye

what I was trying to say was that most people figured heavy hitters would roll in and the avg racer would not fare well. his car would not be up to par but the chad rosenbacks of the world proved us wrong. pelier is still a good option for racing...and lets leave the mudslingin for the track

Just dropping a quick update from the track.
Tony Anderson out battled Derek Losh side by side for the entire feature with Jake Ruefer and Tony Roland tightly in tow. Anderson led laps 1-18 by a nose with Losh leading lap 19 and Anderson retaking the lead on lap 20. Another Limaland driver, Jeff Koz, picked up a strong win over the Super Stock field. Anderson finished as the runner up. Thanks to all of the Limaland stocks who joined us this week. We appreciate the support. We will also be racing these dates if you are looking for a Saturday Night Track throughout September and October:
We will have full results, pics, etc tomorrow at www.MontpelierMotorSpeedway.com Hopefully, everyone had a great nice of racing no matter where they choose to race or spectate. Edited by MontpelierSpeedwayWebsite, 18 September 2010 - 10:35 PM.

Awesome track and fantastic racing tonight at Montpelier. It was worth the 2 hour drive. I'd like to have seen them not race mods tonight and instead run 360 sprints or something like that, but it still turned out to be a great race in the mods. I'm glad to see a few more races on the schedule. Make sure to advertise them well because I heard a lot of people tonight saying 1 more week and then the Monster Mash at the end of October. The Super Stock class has really grown this season and will hopefully be kept around for next year. If it is, hopefully I'll have my car ready to go.
