Just wanted to take a moment to say thanks to the Miracle family for providing us great racing action for the last two years. It's been a great joy to have been a part of it. As I've said before I'm local to the area and really want to see WRP succeed no matter who is the promoter. If the opportunity arrises for me to be a part of the racing there again in the future then I wouldn't hesitate in doing that. I wish the Miracle's luck in what ever path they decide to take in the future. I've gained some new friends and a better understanding of what it takes to run a show. Finally, thanks to all of the great racers that we have at WRP, you guys and gals are the ones that make things exciting and I as a fan of racing appreciate each and every one of you!! Thanks, Danny Kelly former racer, track employee and now father of a racer.

Danny Kelly

So, is it over now or at the end of the season? Just want to be sure. Hate to see it go.

think of it this way you won't have to worry about it anymore and maybe you can go run the 360 show

If it is for sure some one had better take it off the Waynesfield home page the schedule is still posted. Be a little bad if some one shows up sat night.

Thanks to Greg, CUB, and Dean for the great memories that we retain at WRP, (so far).

Hopefully there are better days ahead, for the track!

There would of been a bit of a problem on oct 3 a sunday with waynesfield running, 360 mods compacs and trucks , and looking at pitgate Farmer plans on having a show on the same day at millstream. That would of made for a hard fan count. below is the post from pitgate.

I talked to Farmer last nite. 410's 305's & Lates are on the card for the 3rd.

The WRP website will be updated tonight to reflect the end of the season coming early. Final points standings and perfect attendance will be posted as well. We ARE having a points banquet to honor the teams for their dedication to WRP and our fans this season. Date, time and location will be posted as soon as details are finalized. We will still be running the 'screaming in the Dirt' event for the go karts on both tracks. Come out for one final show if you want to have a final hurrah with us! Thank you to EVERYONE who has been a part of the last two years at WRP. I have had more fun than anyone can ever imagine and I always tried to let it show when on the mic.

Just to make it clear i would love for WRP to shine and prosper and become one of the best money making tracks in the world (especially since its right down the road from me) but the changing the schedule and the inconsistency in what Dean says has made it very hard to keep an interest in WRP. Dean has been great for racing (as evident by his coming induction into the late model hall) but he hasnt done a whole lot for WRP to continue to grow into a money maker. There has been no updates to the facilities and the inconsistent schedule is a big thing. thanks Dean and his crew for at least attempting to make it work and hopefully whoever runs WRP next year i hope they update things and change some things but keep a consistent schedule
