Waynesfield Raceway Park opens the 2011 racing season with an action packed program featuring the S&H Nerfs Non Wing Sprints, Post Agri Service UMP Modifieds, Block Thunder Stock Cars, PPC 1000cc Mini Sprints, Dave's Reliable Motors Tough Trucks, and JR and Sons Service Center Compacts. Come out and see the cars and stars of Waynesfield Raceway Park set the stage for another great season at the high banked 1/3 mile clay oval. Pit Gates open at 4PM, Grandstand Gates open at 5PM, Drivers meeting at 6PM, Racing at 7PM. Adult General Admission: $12 Ages 11-15: $6 Kids 10 and under: FREE Pit Pass(All ages): $25

Hope the rain stays away, but the forecast is not good. Hope it improves.

Good luck the forecast is still not promising. I hope you all can get this race in this weekend I plan on coming to watch. Gotta see these Thunder Stocks. Of course the compacts too.

We are still hopeful of getting our season opener in tomorrow. We are closely monitoring the weather, and will update as frequently as possible. If we are forced to postpone this event, we will post on our website immediately as well as every message board that we frequent. Lima got a pretty good rain at about 4am and it looks like more is on its way. Cross yr fingers.

It's about 10:am here in Troy.Looking west I see overcast coming toward us. Weather says from about 2:00 on 50% chance all through the nite for wrp, big e. Haven't looked at mont p yet.

UPDATE 5/7/11 11:15AM - WE ARE RACING. There is a chance of rain in the afternoon, but we will not cancel based upon a chance of rain. If it does rain, it is expected to be light, and we will do all we can to ensure that we get to race this evening. Watch our website for updates as well as our facebook page, and at your favorite message board. You can also receive instant text alerts by texting keyword "wrpracefan"(no quotes) to 84483.
