I hope everyone will support Austin and his efforts to keep track of the Waynesfield Pick 'Em competition. In order to sweeten the pot, Waynesfield Raceway Park would like to announce that we will be giving the following prizes for 2011 Waynesfield Raceway Park Pick 'Em: The points leader at the conclusion of the July 30th event will receive 2 tickets to the 3rd Annual Jack Hewitt Classic scheduled for Saturday August 6th. The winner at the end of the season will receive 2 Season Passes for the 2012 Racing Season at Waynesfield Raceway Park. 2nd and 3rd place will each receive a pair of tickets good for any regular show during 2012. Thank you Gerry and WRP for helping with this! I will try to configure up some prizes as well. It'd be nice to see everyone participate, after all it is free and takes only a few minutes! With the success and the fun that the limaland fantasy game had last year, I believe that the WRP one will do the same!

Just wondering if AK1 is still planning on giving these prizes out from last years game.Just curious! And thanks! I for one am ready to get the 2012 season under way!!

I haven't been in touch with Gerry, I know that he's been busy with a lot of things. He's put a lot of hard work in this past offseason to come up with a great season for the fans. I do know that we gave out a pass for the Hewitt classic I believe, or a race a few weeks earlier. This year is hopefully organized a little better on my part, I know that last year I went on vacation the same week that the passes were given and didnt get the updated points to him until the day before, when i returned from vacation. But now I have a template in Excel that I came up with, so it should be simple and easy to do this. And if im ever on vacation, the wonderful technology of the smart phone will allow me to keep up to date. Hopefully more people take part in it this year, as I know that last year it was a battle between a few of us for the win. It all came down to the last race, and it was close!
