Well, I for one was impressed withe NRA/SOD showing. Great nite of 360 racing. Car count 40 plus. Modifieds 40 plus. Stocks I think was 26, and I also think LM's were 40 plus. Admission only $15. What a bargain, and what a great nite of racing.

Yes Dr. Speedy it was a great show. The mods had a little tuff time getting off to a good start but once they did it turned out to be a pretty good race. Bowersock was gaining ground on Ruterman just ran out of laps. Eldora desperately needs a tech crew for there stock cars though. While waiting in line for the mods I was admiring some of the stocks.....and WOW. Lets just say aluminum heads are not allowed in the stock class, well not according to the rules, I even seen the number one spark plug of one car 2 inches behind the ball joint. Hey what can you do though, just shows you why none of them ever come to Waynesfeild or Limaland to race. Overall it was an fantastic show. Was very impressive watching Haudenschild come from tail to the top 5 or 6 till he spun out. He had an incredibly fast machine. I do beleive there was some track records set there during qualifying also, I might be wrong though.

Who are you referring to? Why not say something? If someone is cheating, they deserve to be sent home. It was awesome to see Sheldon put on his clinic all night long. Too bad some crybabies can get their way, and force a tech inspection/engine pump on a 12th place car. Lame.

Yes, I'm sure they would like to know!! Unless the car is new to Eldora, maybe out of state or something I don't think so. Maybe the spark plug thing, but heads, I really don't think so. Any other comments?

Send names and infractions to Eldora. How did those cheater finish? Are they the ones up front or does it not matter that they are cheating? In the past
I have ask that the heads and intakes be checked each week. But with all the ways to cover up the alum to accept a magnet why waste the time unless they pull plugs and check inside the hole or pull the carbs off and check inside the intake. I have never seen them do anything that might ruffle the feathers of those cheaters. It may cause a conflict and also may send home some of the fan favorites. CAN'T HAVE THAT!!!!!

I just wonder if they would do anything to drivers/owners that are cheating in the ways listed here. I know the STOCK class is way out of control but with out strict supervision why should they not be stretching the rules?? Start pulling the points and payoffs from the cheaters. How hard would that be?
OH yeah, someone has to be willing to catch them cheating first.

What exactly are the rear suspension rules for the stocks? I havent really paid attention but some people were complaining last year that a few stocks were running bar cars. (4 bar, z link, etc)

You can run 3 or 4 bar cars Z-links, leafs just no coil over and only a 24 inch pull bar.

Eldor rules say

d. Rear suspension must be stock O.E. design. No added lift arms, shocks or springs. Aftermarket pan hard
bars are optional, but must be solid. Upper torque link/biscuit bar (24” max length) optional, but mounting point
on car must be within 24 inches of axle centerline. No Macpherson struts or coilovers. No coilover eliminators.

what oe design cars have 4 bar z link?
