seems like lima could throw in some more races in july. off two weeks. and why not extend the season into september? just my opinion

umm because its lima and they care more about the party they throw after the races each week than actually racing every week. Plus it would be the sensible thing to do and we know lima never does the sensible thing

The reason they won't extend the season in to september is because of friday night high school football. They know they will have no fans once football starts.

Yea, well I think they should risk it this year against high school football, for the Race Fans and teams that got the short end of the stick this year, but we will hear nothing of it! You can take that to Vegas!!!! And Yes I do agree, fill that July schedule if nothing else? But again those of us familiar with this establishment know better, to bad too, they have a great facility. Do hope they get the track back to where it was last year! Last weeks surface and new configuration was not too popular, and it was Not the dust! I am surprised anyone is still interested in racing at Lima, the way they treat them??? I look for them to lose some of that fan base as well!!! My Opinion you can like it or hate it, I could care less, not looking for responses, just callin it like I see it and hear about it! This is a forum!!!

I remember a few years back(about 20) the banking at lima was so steep the clay almost touched the top of the wall,why in the world would you take banking out of a track so rich in history for the famed high banks at lima. If jarvis and the university want a flat track,pave the S.O.B. but give the racers back a track you can race on,not motor-cross jumps,and follow the leader racing. Millstream has only run a handful of races in recent years,and though a little dusty sunday was hand over apple carts,better then a race track that has been running year after year. SAD!!!!!! JMO take it for what it is worth! I'll take the late 80's and early 90's version of limaland over the jarvis joke any day!

Well girls i'm back got suspended for picking on Limaland island and the skipper and Gilligan.. Oops better watch my words will have detention again. So i heard a rumor that kenny wallace brought his own track crew with him in hopes of geting a race in, dont know kenny there calling for a sprinkle tomaro , surprised They have Not cancelled yet .

If Gene ends up not being available due to health reasons then Bob will call it. Without Gene last week the race would have been even more pathetic. But yea i agree the forecast obviously calls for rain this weekend so i expect to wake up and lima be cancelled

Lima will do all they can to race tonight with Kenny Wallace going to be there.

I could care less if Jeff Gordon or Dale Jr was there, Limaland should ALWAYS do what they can to race on fridays.
