I guess there is no appreciation for the Sprint car teams and fans. Fan Appreciation Night is having Mods, Stocks and.....Tuff Trucks???

Fan Appreciation night is some what like Eldora does on family fun night. They removed the sprints from that night of racing to lower the cost to get in the stands. Only 10 bucks Grandstand side only. With the lower payouts for the mods & stocks they can put on this show. Eldora had there second family fun night Saturday and that place had a great turnout. Most fans in the stands by far this year @ a regular show. I think 16 and under gets in free.

Does anyone know what the advertised "Nascar Double features" is about this Friday? Or is this just some spin on a normal night for mods and stocks?

I understand the concept, maybe they need to call it something other than "Fan Appreciation Night." They run a full schedule of Sprint car races all season and then when it comes time to "appreciate" they cater to all the "fans" except the ones that have attended and paid full price all season. Maybe they can call it UNOH-NASCAR night. ;)

I'm not understanding the double feature name when they are only running one feature for the stocks and mods.

As racers we are not sure either!!!! The way a few fellow racers talked its a double feature. I'm not sure what it is I guess they will tell us in the drivers meeting Friday unless someone knows what is going on Friday.

One feature per class, regular pay, nascar double feature a very misleading name.

Fan Appreciation Night isnt this fair weekend good call for Fan Appreciation night. What about the sprint fans? Nothing they still can come and for once some of them might get to see some of the other classes instead of leaving when the sprint feature is over. Never could fiqure that out why some want to leave.

Not everything is always about the sprint cars and their fans. A true fan loves racing no matter what races. Anymore the mods and stocks are being treated as "middle class" no wonder the car counts are down.

I didn't make any claim that it was ALL about sprint cars and their fans and I didn't call the stocks and mods "middle class"????? Just an observation that a track would have a Fan Appreciation Night and not run a show that relates to it's normal fan base. You all have a great Friday night...see you on the 26th!

Eldora was only $5 to get in. Stands were packed pretty good. 3 classes, mods stocks, and the added a compact class, which was pretty interesting. Great racing! And then an outstanding fireworks display! Along with the lightning show. And great food on top of that. Now that's value and appreciation for the fans.

Hard to compare lima and eldora since eldora doesn't really have a regular weekly show. mods. and stocks run there more than the other classes .
