Fan Appreciation night is some what like Eldora does on family fun night. They removed the sprints from that night of racing to lower the cost to get in the stands. Only 10 bucks Grandstand side only. With the lower payouts for the mods & stocks they can put on this show. Eldora had there second family fun night Saturday and that place had a great turnout. Most fans in the stands by far this year @ a regular show. I think 16 and under gets in free.

I understand the concept, maybe they need to call it something other than "Fan Appreciation Night." They run a full schedule of Sprint car races all season and then when it comes time to "appreciate" they cater to all the "fans" except the ones that have attended and paid full price all season. Maybe they can call it UNOH-NASCAR night. ![]()

Fan Appreciation Night isnt this fair weekend good call for Fan Appreciation night.
What about the sprint fans? Nothing they still can come and for once some of them might get to see some of the other classes instead of leaving when the sprint feature is over.
Never could fiqure that out why some want to leave.

I didn't make any claim that it was ALL about sprint cars and their fans and I didn't call the stocks and mods "middle class"?????

Eldora was only $5 to get in. Stands were packed pretty good. 3 classes, mods stocks, and the added a compact class, which was pretty interesting. Great racing! And then an outstanding fireworks display! Along with the lightning show. And great food on top of that. Now that's value and appreciation for the fans.
