Waynesfield Raceway Park will complete its season on Saturday September 17th with all 6 classes in action. Points chases are still in full force in 5 of the 6 divisions, and it will be all out war to see who can seal the deal and become a champion. Also, the ladies will take part in a “powder puff” race sponsored by Dad’s Complete Car Care. Ladies, if you know someone with a tough truck, let them know you’d like to give it a run next Saturday night in what promises to be a very entertaining night of racing action. We will have lots of giveaways and goodies, so don’t miss out! This will be a points race for ALL 6 CLASSES. Pit Gates open at 4PM, Grandstand Gates open at 5PM. Hot laps at 6PM, and Racing at 7PM. General Admission for ages 16 and older $12, Ages 11 to 15 $6, and kids 10 and under always get in FREE! Pit passes $25 for all ages. Rainchecks will be honored from the Rained out September 3rd show. Don't miss out on this big night at Ohio’s Home of Weekly Non Wing Racing, Waynesfield Raceway Park! Plan on camping out Saturday night and hanging around on Sunday for a Play day/Test and Tune. We will be allowing teams to shake down cars, allow team members and friends drive their cars, and just have fun. Jack Hewitt has shown interest in being at the track with the 2 seater to sell rides. We will have our timing equipment set up and will allow for some time trial runs. We will have some concessions available with hamburgers, hot dogs, and drinks at reasonable prices. Grandstand admission FREE! Pit admission $10 per person. __________________________________________ Reminder to all PPC 1000cc Mini Sprint Teams: You must have a PPC sticker visible on your top wing to be eligible for year end points fund. If you need a sticker, please let us know at sign in.

I have a wife that would love to try racing one time if anyone would allow her the opportunity to race in the powder puff race I would be very thankful.

The show was a complete rain out, so everything would start over with a fresh pill draw.

The Truck, and Sprint heats were completed. Will be interseting to see if they start those classes completely over or not.

They will start completely over, it was a rained out show. I won my first ever heat this year there earlier this year, stock heats were completed...but the night was negated. I won my second ever heat a millstream and the lights went out which turned into a permanent closure. The moral of the story is two things: some heats completed or not, a complete rainout negates the heats that were completed, and secondly...when I win bad stuff happens.

That is correct, our policy is that unless we get "all" preliminary events completed (meaning all heat races) then the night is a total wash. Had we gotten all the heats in then there would be no rain checks and a decision would be made on whether to make the features up or to pay out based on line up. \since that didn't happen we will be making up the entire show which as Tim said means a new pill draw and complete new line ups for all heat races including powder puff. Your wristbands are still good as a rain check for the show on the 17th. We had a really nice crowd on hand this past Saturday and we hope to have another nice turn out for the show on the 17th. I know a couple of stockers were torn up really bad at Eldora this past weekend so I sure hope they can get something put back together to race on the 17th. As long as mother nature cooperates we will have a great show on hand and hopefully we are rewarded with a nice crowd...........they will be treated to the best racing value for your dollar around!!!!
