Join us this Tuesday night December 20th for the final edition of FASTRAK Weekly LIVE Presented by FK Rod Ends on the FASTRAK Radio Network at 8:30pm ET as Wesley Outland your Host and "Voice of FASTRAK" from Four Oaks,NC talks to the movers and shakers of the "Premier Pro Late Model Series in the Country" for the final time in 2011 and this show is going to be BIG!! Of course as everyone knows the Holidays are quickly sneaking up on us all and with that we also know that were getting closer and closer to racing season starting up again. Every Tuesday night the FASTRAK Racing Series keeps you reminded of the upcoming things for the new year, remembering the past, and having on the stars of the FASTRAK/ULTIMATE world discussing their highs and lows ups and downs in the racing season!! WE DO IT FOR THE RACE FANS!!
Everyone is hyped and excited about the announcement made on FWL a few weeks ago with FASTRAK Founder/CEO Stan Lester that after a one year hiatus the FASTRAK Racing Series would be going back to the "Big E" Eldora Speedway the 1/2 mile dirt oval nestled in Rossburg, OH owned by Three time and 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion Tony Stewart. On Tuesday we will have it worked out to have the new Promoter/General Manager of Eldora Roger Slack on the FK Rod Ends to discuss the big things that are happening at Eldora for 2012 and about his new role at the famed track that was built by Earl Baltes back in the 50's and the great success the track has with FASTRAK Racing there and other premier events as well like the Biggest payday Late Model Race The $100,000 Dirt Late Model DREAM and "The Grand-Daddy of Dirt Late Model Racing" The WORLD 100!!
Another great race track is located in the "Commonwealth State" which offers some great racing excitement. The 1/2 mile "State of the Art" Dirt facility in Jamicia,VA the Virginia Motor Speedway had a superb 2011 with the exception of getting hit by old man weather throughout the racing season as many tracks all over the Eastern US did this year. VMS is pumped and excited to be bringing back the ULTIMATE Super Series on Saturday May 19th for $10,000 to win and the possibility of a FASTRAK Southeast/Mideast Touring Series race in the works to for the upcoming 2012 racing season. We will have Billy Sawyer (and-or) Dave Seay on the FK Rod Ends Hotline to discuss whats on tap at the track for 2012 and we'll also talk about the history of the Virginia Motor Speedway as it is closing in on 50 years of racing!!
Steve Summerlin the PR Manager for the famed 3/8th clay oval County Line Raceway nestled in Elm City,NC which is a family owned track operated by the Upchurch family. As what I've been informed they are "More than Excited" about having the return of Super Late Models roaring around "The Line" after an 8 year absence. On Friday night May 18th the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series will be making that reality on alot of "County Line Crazies" minds and rekindle that for some die-hard fans from the past also. This is be the 1st ever ULTIMATE Series visit to County Line Raceway and we'll have Summerlin on the line to discuss the preparations that went into making it happen, whats on tap for them this 2012 season at the Elm City,NC facility and also about the History of the County Line Raceway as they are closing in on 25 years of racing very very quickly as the "Premier Dirt in the Mid-Atlantic"!!
Finally we will have the "FASTRAK Highlighted Race of the Year" where the fans voted and it was NO CONTEST that the May 29th Triple Crown Finale at the 3/8th mile tri-oval Princeton Speedway in "Wild and Wonderful" West Virginia highly talked about was the winner. It saw a great battle for the FASTRAK Triple Crown and had capped off the 3 race series which is widely popular every Memorial Day weekend with 3 different winners bringing home the checkers and "Lightnin" Lee Cooper wear the scepter, crown and cape in the end to go along with the big 80 lb. trophy. We will recapture that exciting race which featured three and four wide racing and had fans on the edge of their seat and biting their thumbnails with the great battle that came down to the end between the Regulars of Princeton and the FASTRAK Touring Stars. Tim Howard joined Wesley Outland for the call of the event and we'll have him on the FK Rod Ends Hotline to reminisce the exciting racing event that took place at the track owned and operated by Melvin Bishop and whats gonna be happening for Princeton Speedway in 2012!!
