Hey I was told that at the banquet that you had mentioned that the race schedule and the new rules would be out within 4 weeks. If I did my math right we are over 7 weeks since the banquet. were are the rules and schedule at???? Also I think it is very unprofessional for you to get on these forms (ohio 3 track) and B*** and yell at other people, as the promoter of a race track you just need to sit back and read the forms and not put your personal 2 cents in on topics. JMO.

Whaa whaa maybe you shouldnt get on here and run your mouth on Dan. When the schedule is done it will be done. Ive have never heard Dan doing what you said as a first time poster maybe you should sit back and listen. Badracer i say Badmouthing. There are not many tracks that have their schedule out yet. Its always better to wait and see what some others schedule would be so you dont hurt yourself. As a first time poster i dont think your opinion is that professional to be putting some one down.

Well maybe you should read other forms then. Also i wouldnt be asking about the schedule if they didnt say it would be out in 4 weeks. This is not how a track should be ran. Also just because this was my first time posting doesnt mean i havent been around the block a few times.

I just shake my head and laugh every time I see someone call someone else out on this forum.

How is your posting of this any different than his bitching on other forums....if that's even true?

It is the holidays and some do have other things going on with family and their jobs. So what is the big rush?? The people from WRP are decent and caring people and have always tried to please every one. But when some one gets all excited about a schedule, I say sit back and enjoy the holidays and let others enjoy them. I would rather see a set schedule than see one that has to be changed because of conflicks with another track. Happy Holidays to all and have a safe New Years.

Give my dad a break man, I mean seriously. He has a family too. And he is not the only promotor. You have about 4 months, that's plenty of time. The schedule will be out before too long I'm sure. And as for getting on three track, who has he bad mouthed on there, he was messing around with wendell trying to get him to give the track a chance, he never said anything to put him down, so I don't see what the big deal is, its not like he is on their bad mouthing the bowl, he has nothing but good things to say about it!! I have known Dan kelly for a while now, and the last thing he does is get on here and bitch and call people out, and run someone down unless they have it coming. The tracks are working hard to put a schedule out that benefits everyone. not rush to put one out then have to make changes so someone can get on here and bitch and whine about it. Dan kelly is a class act both on and off the track, so get your facts straight before you open your mouth!

Indeed. I've never had ANY track personnel who have been as good to the teams, willing to answer questions, and HELP with any issue we may have. Dan and Gerry are great at what they do, and don't get nearly enough appreciation for their efforts. Instead of hiding behind an anonymous name, act like a civilized human and make a phone call. You'll find they will answer any question you may have for them.

I feel the same way, Tim! They have been nothing but helpful and answered any questions I had!!! I have gone to Waynesfield since the very beginning (watching and competing) From what I saw this past season, it was by far, the best it has been operated and directed, yet! Looking forward to another great season!

I don't blame WRP for taking their time to release the schedule. As soon as they release it, there will be even more people on here running their mouth because of the schedule not being perfect in their eyes. Happens every year. People just need to keep their noses out of WRP's business and they wouldn't have to worry about it!

First off, I need to point out a very important fact. Neither Dan or myself are in any way shape or form, the promoters of Waynesfield Raceway Park. Dan is the Race Director, meaning he is in charge of Race Control during the events at WRP, as well as in charge of the pit area. I am the PA announcer and PR Director(I use that term loosely...lol). Greg Shobe is the owner/promoter of Waynesfield Raceway Park and is ultimately in charge of the facility. Dan and myself do post on several message boards from time to time, and our personal thoughts, feelings, and/or rants are just that, our own. While we do realize that what we say or do may reflect negatively upon WRP, we also have the right to our own personal opinions and beliefs.

While the promoter, Greg Shobe, did say that he hoped to have a tentative schedule out in 4 weeks, you must also take into consideration the fact that he also holds a full time job, runs a farm and has family obligations that have contributed to the fact that we had not been able to meet and get details ironed out regarding 2012. The tentative schedule is very close to completion, and I HOPE to be able to have it on our website within the next 7 days. Which will put us 1 month ahead of the release of our schedule the last 3 seasons. We have released the date of the season opener, which will be held on Saturday May 5th, and have announced that there will be some very minor rules changes, which WILL be released by Monday evening. We are working hard to ensure that we have all of our ducks in a row before we release a schedule, so we do not have to make many changes after the release, if any at all.

With all that said, we appreciate everyone's support of Waynesfield Raceway Park and we would like to assure you that we are dedicated to delivering the very best value for your entertainment dollar in 2012 and beyond.

Thank you,
Gerry Keysor

Dont rush the schedule out cuz the schedule you release now is never the final schedule. Take your time get it right and for gods sake please invite the 360s more than just once this year, last year they had 44 sprints in the pits for your one show and it got rained out. Obviously its not the tracks fault the rain came but at the same time it is the tracks fault for not rescheduling that race. The 360s put on a better show than any other class at WRP and they should be there more than just once
