Ray Cook, Brian Connor, Brandon Umberger and CARS Jimmy Schiltz on the 1st FASTRAK Weekly LIVE of the New Year!!

(Four Oaks,NC) HAPPY NEW YEAR!! The 2012 Racing season is now officially in countdown mode as its the start of 2012 and a new year in now upon us after the holidays have passed yet again. FASTRAK Radio Network is set to launch its first broadcast of the new year with the only show dedicated to the "Premier Pro Late Model Series in the Country" this Tuesday night January 10th at a NEW TIME 7PM EST as Wesley Outland "The Voice of FASTRAK" hosts FASTRAK Weekly LIVE Presented by FK Rod Ends. With it being 2012 now its officially safe to say that the racing season is gearing in high throttle expecting a great start. Every Tuesday night Wesley talks with the "movers and shakers" of the sport as well as get interviews and dialog from track owners, promoters, sponsors and fan feed back which keeps FASTRAK Racing Series have a steady pulse in the dirt racing world!! This Tuesday night is no exception with a great guest talent line up to start the New Year!!



"The Tarheel Tiger" Ray Cook from Brasstown,NC will be calling in on the FK Rod Ends Hot Line first to discuss his victory for the 2nd time in his career at the only dirt racing event going on over the weekend down in Alabama's first racing event of the year Ice Bowl XXI at the Talladgea (AL) Short Track which he won in 2009 as well. He is also no stranger to running with the ULTIMATE Super Series and we'll get his thoughts about the Ice Bowl victory over the weekend and if he's gonna pilot the #53 in any ULTIMATE races plus other racing plans for 2012.



Brian Connor from Martinez,GA picked up his first victory on the FASTRAK Racing Series Touring program on the final night of the 2011 FASTRAK Grand National Finals at Volunteer (Bulls Gap,TN) Speedway back in October was representing FASTRAK proudly over the weekend at Talladgea Short Track's Ice Bowl XXI with a strong 3rd place finish in the 40 lap Feature on Sunday night. We'll have Connor on to discuss how his weekend went at the track deemed "The Hornets Nest" and what his plans are for FASTRAK and the upcoming 2012 racing season which gets underway in March. Momentum has got to be on the side going into 2012 for Brian Connor and the Connor Enterprises entry team after a 2nd and 1st to end 2011 FASTRAK season and a 3rd this weekend in the Crate Late Model portion of Ice Bowl XXI!!



The 2011 and defending FASTRAK SouthEast/MidEast Touring Series champion was the driver from Rural Retreat,VA nicknamed "Flatfoot" Brandon Umberger. After a close battle between him and Inman,SC's David "Hollywood" Smith he prevailed to get the big check as champion and the $10,000 to go along with it. He's ready for 2012 to get here so he can start "flatfooting" again around the dirt tracks of FASTRAK. We'll have him on the FK Rod Ends Hot Line to discuss how his holidays were and whats in circle to defend the FASTRAK title in 2012 for 2 years in a row. Also don't forget that if you attend the CARS Show in Hickory,NC this weekend stop by the FASTRAK exhibit booth has Umberger will be unveiling his new car and design for the upcoming 2012 racing season!!



Finally we'll have the Co-Promoter of the CARS (Carolina Auto Racing Show) and driver of the #24 FASTRAK Pro Late Model we all know as "Dirtywrap" Jimmy Schiltz from Hickory,NC to get everyone hyped up and excited as the Inaugural Racing Expo show held for the first time at the Hickory (NC) Convention Center is just days away. We'll have a recap from Schiltz on whats gonna be there as well as the latest new news that has been announced for the show since the last time we had him on in December.
