My name is Denny Morelock Sr. I am the owner of the Shaken Baby Syndrome/K-100 Arca Sportsman Racing Team. We are running our car at Toledo Speedway (OH), and Flat Rock Speedway (MI) for the 2012 racing Season. I would like to tell you a little about what our team is about. My story is simple, on March 6, 2007 our family’s lives were changed forever when my 3 month grandson Dominic was rushed to the hospital .His little brain was bleeding, we found out 3 days later that his father had shaken him so Violently, his brain was bleeding, his eye’s were bleeding, and he broke 5 of his ribs. He was a victim of Shaken Baby Syndrome. Our family has been through something that we wish on no family EVER. So for the 2012 racing season. The CEO Rachel Sumner, of the Shaken Baby Syndrome Support Network has asked our family to team up and help educate fans on the danger’s of shaking a baby. Shaken baby Syndrome claims 1,400 to 1,600 victims each year. Education is the key to prevention. Imagine how many Baby’s lives could be saved if each new parent was properly educated about SBS and other forms of child abuse! We need your help to ensure all families affected by SBS Receive the support and education they need. We need your help to ensure everyone is aware of SBS and how truly dangerous it can be. Today we are asking for monetary sponsorship of our ARCA sportsman division SBS/K-100 backed race team. We have advertising space on our car for your business to help furthering our goals. The cost for a spot on the car depends on were the logo is located and how large. We would love to have Just one major sponsor, but would entertain having several if needed to cover our racing budget. As a sponsor you will get plugs for your business over the P.A. system at the track as well as on the radio at K-100. You will have your logo on our uniforms, and all racing Equipment. We want a sponsor that is as dedicated to our cause as we are. Were not looking for just a sponsor but a partner, and the community will see that your company Is behind helping to raise awareness on the dangers of shaking a baby.
