What the hell is up with Douglas in Ralstons old ride. Seriously battling for last. Ralstons sold him his motor and everything there is no reason for him to be in the back. He won 7 or 8 races at Waynesfield and 1 at limaland and was in first in points at both tracks till he screwed himself. C'mon Douglas your messing up what was an awesome car.
#4Posted 30 April 2012 - 01:27 PM You registered today...excellent way to welcome yourself to the board. 2nd in the first heat, 8th in the first feature, 4th in a very good heat, and 11th in the feature again. It takes time to get used to a new car. I saw chris drive his tail off with his old car. Give him time, it will gel. I see frequently, people that have been racing for a long time and have won features and didnt even make a local feature some nights. Want me to point out some? #5Posted 30 April 2012 - 02:36 PM

[/quote I didn't know who to laugh at more him Andy King or Sam Bodine. I'd say the track should make them have student drivers decals on their cars. Jesus you would think they thought it was a demolition derby as much as they were wrecking. I just hope they own there cars so they have to pay for there screw ups. I can't wait till the Jordan Conover comes out so that boy can show them guys how to drive. #6Posted 30 April 2012 - 04:56 PM

Yeah, Douglas I was impressed with what you did. I have been watching as much as I can since I am friends with your wife. As far as buying a fast car, I got the best Modified in the area from 2 yrs ago. Talk about a learning curve, lol. But I am excited about what I have learned so far. I have learned, forget talkers. I only take my competitors words with any weight.

Its funny how you can talk smack about someone and have no clue what your talking about. I used to be you. Then I jumped in a car at Waynesfield and got passed by a guy on a rascal. I have tons of blood sweat and tears in some of those cars and do it to learn the sport and cause i love the sport. Its ALOT harder then you think. Im actually really excited about the stock car class this year have some heavy competition Koz was crazy fast, Tim Cole was hooked up and looking damn good, Dippman was fast and pulling his LF like a damn mod, Valenti was quick and Anderson is doing work to his motor i just saw on FB so you know that dude will be fast. Not to mention the fast cars who arent ready and will be there soon. But he shouldn't have to explain anything to you. At least he has a car to drive while your sitting on your ass playing Saturday Night Speedway on your couch wishing you could be running at a real track.

Car counts are up, no one is pissed off at each other yet....it's a good season so far. Some WTF moments from the college cars are my only concern at the moment.
New cars aren't always easy cars to drive, regardless of past performance. Give it time....if it were easy, no one would bother to come watch.

I don't think that Tim or Brad would really want someone like you bringing their families name into this. I know Jordan is good, but If you think he is going to come out and dominate, you are wrong. Kevin is faster than him, and Kevin didnt just come out and dominate. Perhaps maybe you are just one of the guys at the back of the field that is mad that he keeps getting passed? Btw, I speak from experience, bashing a drivers ability does nothing. Everyone goes through tough racing times. But they are out there living the dream while you are on the computer, jealous that you cant be one of them.

Yes I did take a second car that night with Brad driving it!!!! But sorry it was there for a back up car for the king if the 1/4 mile. And as far as Jordan I ain't going to get the car out until he is done with his high school track. Just let the kid get out there and gain the respect from other drivers. Is he going to win his first year NO will he win one yes someday. Tim conover
