He is a young second year broadcasting major at Ohio Northern University. He has done all of our video work at the track this season. He also owns and operates his own website called www.dirtsimtv.com. He's a huge racing fan and is enjoying his opportunity to get his feet wet at dirt track announcing. Last week was a big learning curve and there were some things to iron out with adjusting our equipment for his voice. It was also super helpful to have Gerry there to guide him. We are happy to have him as part of our team.

A little more volume would be helpful.Sitting at the top of bleachers toward one we could hardly hear him.

Yes Gerry came up and helped adjust the controls during the a's and it was much better then.

I didn't touch anything on the pa. Tyler just needed to get louder, which he did quite well after the NRA B Main. If anything, things might need turned down this week to ensure the speakers don't get blown out. Watch the meter on the right side of the pa while some one is on the mic or music is playing. If it reaches the top and you see it getting into the red light, it is up too high.

sounds like he got a mouth full of popcorn or something stood in front of the speaker couldn't hardly hear him

I thought he did a great job this week, especially now that we could hear him, after he got a few pointers?
I just wonder if your the one that was complaining about everything from the compacts, track prep, how they run the program and then even the food? Was that you that was sitting behind me and standing under the stands during the 2 rain delays?
