So I was just wondering, who are you tires of seeing win?

N for S, I just think in an entry level class such as 4 cyl. trucks, the rules should be enforced to keep the costs down and make it more fair and interesting to watch. The pay is not that great for a "souped up" engine and it costs quite a bit to do that, you know that. And some of the engines, are far from stock. I too love the track. JMO, and I am done here. It's pointless to argue.

Yeah sammie, just so you know since you think you do, I Matt Twining haven't been at the track for 2 weeks.

its a funny thing when the twinnings in the pits act like really nice guys but you get them on the track, one pushes every one around and if he can not get by you, he will take out your tire and the other is driving way over his head. He can run over anyone he wants because he can afford to fix his. Not all of us are that lucky. Back in the day i would of really been mad and said a lot a really bad things and maybe more, but i learned over the years to have fun. That's why we are in the trucks. The thing that was bad is he runs you off the track, tears up your truck bad and never says anything like, i did not mean to do that or sorry. He just acts like he's to arrogant to care.

As far as the friendly racing in the trucks, those day seem to be over as far as I can tell. I have been surprize by rough driving from the start of this season. This season the class is sooooo much more competitve than ever. Passing someone is very hard now. The 1w was driven by my Dad, who has about 5 races under his belt and never on a black slick track. As far as your new truck gettin tore up, I would be mad too. But maybe your driver was driving above his head in a brand new never raced truck.

I wasn't going to do this but here goes.... to everyone out there threatening my dad and what will happen this Saturday night @ waynesfield race track it makes me sick! Be an adult you cheated and knew the rules just cause my dads car was in second place doesn't mean threats on him and his team need to b made! Childish and believe me he doesn't race like that everyone that knows my dad knows he is as honest as they come even blunt! He has never raced dirty and wont ... I'm pissed!!!! And so is everyone else!! Its unprofessional maybe YOU should find another hobby

Ahh okay.. I was going to say, "hey, we only take photos, thats it" lol We don't take sides "on most things" We like to stay out of the drama as much as possible so we just stick to taking and posting photos.

Dont really know the whole story but know Jeff and Zack , and this is some thing we dont need to see happen if threats were made . Not taking sides but threats could turn into some legal issues dont need to see that happen to any party. Good luck to both sides.

I wasn't at the track Saturday but I did get the whole scoop(at least I think I did) and I didn't hear any word of anybody threatening anyone. I know if they were it wasn't anyone directly from Matt's team.

Also NO they DIDN'T know the rule so....

But on the other subject.. Yes, if threats were made, then this has been taken too far.. Just no reason for that..

I don't know what this whole 'threat' deal is about..............but I highly doubt Matt or Phil had anything in it.

I walked up to Matt and said "So, you got to cheat 'em to beat 'em now huh?"...and we both laughed (keep in mind we've known each other, and raced against each other long before either one of us had to worry about shaving...)

He told me why he got DQed, I said "Well if they think that's why they got beat, what will they say next week when you beat them again, without the beadlock?" Phil (Matt's dad for all of you who don't know) wasn't really happy they got DQed, and was grumbling -as anybody would who just had a win taken away- about how the beadlock doesn't make the car any faster.

Mike Miller stopped by and asked Matt what happend, and when he was told, he said "You gotta be sh+ttin me" And Matt said "Yeah, I guess it's in the rules, no beadlock on the LR" and Mike just shook his head, and he also said "It ain't like it makes the car go faster being on there"......

The whole mood was kinda 'what the hell'. They wern't trying to cheat, or scam somebody. And nobody really understood/understands why the rule is even there...a beadlock on a LR wheel doesn't make a car go faster!!

But in the end, the rule is there, and WRP is required to enfore the UMP rules as written (as dumb as they may be). So they did what they had to do. As long as the rules are enforced equally for everybody, it's no biggie.

So this week, when/if Matt wins again, we'll see what goes down.

Now, enough of the pissin and moanin, this thread was to let the WRP staff know they did a good job last Saturday night.

I dont think any one was cheating but who ever owns the car or the set up man should know the rules if your gonna be a car owner. It was proably just some thing that was over looked and didnt know it. Zack and Jeff are class act guys along with Matt. They won a championship fair and square. Dont know who turned Matt in or really care its just some thing that happened. I dont think Jeffs daughter would of posted it if some one didnt make the statements. It could of come from some outsiders im not one to say just though some might want to see the post. A lot a people at different tracks have been DQed for things that they didnt catch or over looked. Jeffs daughter was proably just standing up for her dad and was proably upset over some things that she has heard. I think any one would stand up for their parents if what she is saying is true from who ever . It could just be hear say that was passed down from one person to another i think we all know how that can happen.

Matt and Phil are 'the set up man'.

With their background in Midgets-Sprints-Champ Cars, and never having to deal with rules involving 'you can't run a beadlock on the LR wheel' I can assure you, they were not -trying- to break any rule. It was totally an 'Ooops, sorry, we didn't know' type of thing.

Rules are rules regardless of what people think about them they are there for everyone to see. Personally I like Westfall (very classy guy and always has taken time to converse with my boy whenever he wants an autograph and trust me he wants them all the tiem lol) But IMO the rules are there for everyone to see and while none of us may agree with them they are still there. Matt was DQed for breaking the rules. Not saying he did it intentionally because i dont believe matt needs to bend the rules he can drive the wheels off anything he straps into. On the threats thing i think its clearly gone to far if people are threatening others. Grow up
