Is there some reason why there is no info being shared? What are the extent of his injuries. Is he breathing on his own? Why an angiogram? From what we have heard to this point there is no reason an angiogram would be needed. Can someone please let us know what the situation is. These little bits that we are getting make absolutely no since and is very frustrating.

Truthfully, because it's probably none of our business. They don't have to tell us anything at all. Asking for thoughts and prayers is more than enough. I'm sure people that are close to him have more pressing matters to take care of than updating people on Racestud.

I apologize for being concerned. Others seem to have info that are posting. They are not telling us everything. I agree they dont have to, but they are, so it needs to be accurate info.

Brian 44M I am sorry but I told his wife I would only post the info she releases it is of great importance to keep her wishes and not post things that can not be verified,Brianna is faithful to keep me informed and so I will continue as I have been until otherwise advised.I make it a practice in situations like this to honor the family.Last they want you all to know how much they appreciate your concern and prayers. In Christs service .Chaplain Bill

I don't know who anyone here involved is or any details except they had surgery. The unknown cowboy, and his family, are in our prayers! B)

He's runs Merver every time I've been there in the past few years. I believe Lernerville also. He also ran speed week shows at Wayne County and Sharon (that I know of maybe more). Ran decent at Wayne County missing a transfer to the "A" by one spot

Get well soon Cowboy!

Steinman suffers a broken Neck, shoulder, shoulder blade, color bone, pelvis, and foot, along with every vertebrae in his back crushed. He also has burns on his legs and arms. That is from the update page, had no idea the injuries suffered were so severe. Thoughts and prayers to Brian on his long road to recovery. Hopefully he can follow the same path Shane Hmiel did..

This is all very sad news but all we can do now is hope for the best and hope his doctors do a great job.

I did find this tidbit interesting:

The Dr added: it is because, of the people who pulled him out of the car, that he may again, someday walk, if they had taken him out any other way, the wrong way, he would have never walked again.

So good job to the rescue crew, it seems you guys made the right calls and prevented further damage.
