Gearhart ran a very smooth race that ended to be a great finish in the end for the SS. Congrats to him on his win! Latemodels seemed to be, well the latemodels. if you been there you know what im talkin about. Congrats to Brooks on his win he was fast last night! WHAT A RACE the pure stocks put on. Great show, great racing, with a 4 car finish at the end. clean drivers. they were racing close! i gotta give them credit. One of the best shows of the year for them and for the track. The track looked VERY smooth, and race-y. Good night for "The Bird"

Congrats to the track crew for having a pretty damn good surface under what had to be difficult circumstances with the weather. The last final laps of the pure stock feature were awesome. Congrats to Lewis on his first win.... Heindl, Smith and Surra were right there. Great race to watch, fast, close and clean. Finally, someone is going to get killed or seriously injured in the pit area because of race cars flying through a dark pit with all the background noise from the track. Ironically, it isn't the suport classes but a steel block LM that is the most notable culprit. In short, it is dangerous and bush league. Wish the sponsors could see a video of the behavior. Some one is going to get hurt. Great surface and good racing.

i quit going to the bird after week # 2 because of the smash up derby they seem to call racing and don't think i hate the place i just hate what the people who are running the show have let it become it's sad really to me . good racing? did i see someone say on here? one lap in the latemodels and a caution flag lap 2 and a caution flag then run 3 more laps and a caution flag hell i quit counting caution flags after a while the streetstock race outcome was caused by a lap car getting in the way of johnny lindenpitz( spelling ) i know everyone has to deal with what is given to him but that poor guy has to be sick in the stomach over that one . there is not one ounce of clay on that track anymore if that stuff ain't topsoil then i don't know what you call it . i know if i don't like it go somewhere else! well i was on my way to marion center but going through troutville there was so many trees across the road you could not get to marion center , then we tried to go through sykesville and the same there. i just hope nobody was hurt, there were some serious storm damage from what i saw. trees big enough around you could not put your arms around them knocked down . the purestock race was a good one and congrats to all the winners .

Gearhart drove a great race. Congratulations on the win. I agree the surface was great and the Pure Stock finish was exciting.

Maybe the LM's should come up in stands and learn from the pure stock drivers ;). I kind of agree though. there have been a number of LM features that I was watching where I went back down into the pits because of the # of cautions.
