Silver cup reserved seats 39 bucks this year??? That's 5 bucks more than last year if I remeber right. Fire cracker tickets were 35 this year...that's 5 bucks more too. Does anyone else think this is too much? Don't they realize that racing already costs too much and is shrinking the field because drivers can't afford to run, now ticket prices are doing the same? Attendance at some major races this year has sucked. Raising the prices will only make it worse. Without the fans they have no reason to race, so why fleece the fans?

You talking reserved or GA? NM i see you said reserved. I don't think that's a jump. I think that was it last year too. The commonwealth clash in sept. is normal 29 GA and 35 reserved, I think the silver cup is usually more. Thankfully my GF bought me a ticket for xmas this year so I'm not sure what she paid.

Things are tight there, It's pretty bad when they charge extra for a pass to run your quad then extra on top of that to take it into the pits for the firecracker, But the best one is they would rent you your own shithouse for the weekend. Next they'll charge for parking on a regular event.

fear is not an option

last year it was either 32 or 35 for reserved but everyone who bought a reserved ticket also recieved a free pit pass which wasnt bad at all,not sure if their doin that this year or not, i think the prices our kinda high but for me, the silver cup is about the only race i get time to go to so i dont mind it as much as others

It is what it is. I look forward to this race as much as the SLM fans do the Firecracker.

I checked my ticket. It's $35 for GA. But it does come with a Pitt pass. All things considered. Going to see the outlaws run double features and getting a ticket/Pitt pass for $35 doesn't seem like too bad of a deal IMO. I know it was $35 to get into the pits at Sharon for the Lou Blaney Memorial and $40-$45 at Wayne County for a Pitt pass during the Ohio speed week Allstar show. I'm of the opinion that WRG has done a few questionable things the past few years. But I think the silver cup is a great night of racing and the free pit pass makes it a pretty decent value.

I know the restrooms in turn 1 use to have 12 outhouses outside the bathrooms. This year for the firecracker they had 3 ?? Hard trying to tell my 4 year old she has to hold it for 10 minutes because they are to cheap to accommodate the fans. I know they are suppose to have so many toilets for so many fans....might have to make a call or two this week!!!!!

If they hadn't charged extra, the place would've overrun by every peckerhead who owns a 4 wheeler, like it was before instituting the charge. Renting your own shitter seems pretty nice. You could limit the number of assholes (figuratively and literally) using it.

If at first you don't succeed, then maybe you just suck.

It's Lernerville's fault your kid waits too long to tell you she has to go?

i've been to lots of weekend races where they do not charge for your 4 wheeler and every drunken @sshole that has one brings it to track and drives it as fast as they can, all day long. the races i have attended where you have to pay for your 4 wheeler are a lot better it sure does cut down on the number of douche bags driving past your family at 60mph.

i wonder which type of fan warrior97 is, probably the drunken @sshole type?

$35 ga price, for two outlaw features and a free pit pass, sounds to me like you are making out. you can go to the grove next weekend and pay $30 a night for one feature and no pit pass.

They sent a letter over the winter informing people who have purchased tickets for the big shows in years past offering them for the same price, but you had to order them before a given date. In the letter it said if you didn't purchase them that prices were going up. They did this at least for the Firecracker, not sure about Silver Cup.

I did notice that last year's race advertised $15,000 to win each feature, & this year it says $10,000 to win each

When in doubt....GAS IT!!

pit pass has been free with advanced tickets. and the second feature can be very few cars on the lead lap. I just dont see what the need is for raising the prices 5 more bucks. 35 bucks is alot of money, 40 is just that much more. If the place cant put asses in the seats to begin with, why fleece those who support ya? I know you dont have the answer, just wish someone making these decisions would listen.
