Signman Ed, I should have worded that differently. It was generally krystiak. However, because it was a rivalry there were times when even The greatest driver of all time lost his temper. I can recall at Mercer one night krystiak taking Lou out in four. Lou came around and cranked him. My only point was, we loved to hate krystiak. We loved to love blaney. It drew me to the track as a young boy and has fueled my life with the love of racing I have today. It draws me to the track to watch or race every week. With flinner gone, there are no more rivalries. Bolland and swartzslammer are all thats left. What rivalries will fuel my daughters passion for the sport. (although I hope it is not a rivalry I have with a few guys out there.) If this sport is going to survive, "boys have at it" is what will bring people back.

Might bring fans back, but how long can people continue to fix the cars Bolland has no problem tearing up for them? Who wants to race in a division that has a guy who will blatantly crash anyone who he can't beat fair and square.

Not talking about Swartzlander, talking about the entire division. I have seen Bolland in messes like this with about everyone.

And we have also watched Murdick hit everything with a number. Swartzslammer is no better. Jeramiah is likely the cleanest of all. The rest have either had their go round or are not front runners and cant smell the front to be an issue anyway. THey all do it. Course, I have even seen jeremiah throw his car around at times too come to think of it. They all do it. Bolland just wins more and beats up on pretty boy slammer. SO you all get mad.

People get mad at dirty driving, not because someone gets beat. Most just want to see a good, clean, fair race. Not someone getting crashed. Nothing wrong at all with being fast, but unfortunately that isn't all that he is. I have seen him in more incidents than any other single driver I can think of off hand. With numerous different drivers and a variety of tracks.

I wondered how long it would take till some horse's patoot would come on here with that Swartzslammer bullshit after Friday's incident. Only took a couple days for the Podunk Junior High crowd to show up. Jeez.

I think all divisions and series should be allowed to run radios just like Nascar. Tell your driver where the fast groove is, where the caution is and to get on the gas as the 2ndd place car is coming in a hurry. It is also Great for the fans to hear all the talking between the drivers and crew!! just my 2 cents....

You're just dumb enough not to realize that Brian Swartzlander has won more Modified features at Lernerville than anyone. How that's getting beat continually by that asshole you root for is beyond me. Uh, he also accomplished the task having started driving them about ten years before your hero. Oh, and Kevin Bolland has absolutely never driven anything resembling junk. His first car was a Show Car Chassis that he had before anyone around here had even heard of one. So don't come on here talking about who has money and who doesn't, clown. I guess after getting his ass kicked on the track for ten years by Brian Swartzlander, a dozen or so years ago I think Bolland decided that it was far easier to start wrecking Brian and everyone else out of the way. Lernerville is not the only track he has been thrown out of or otherwise penalized for rough driving, either.

All Swartzlanders wins weren't all in the big blocks. They combined the 6-cylinder modified wins with his big block wins makes his stats "look" better at Lernerville. There wasn't much competition in the 6-cylinders back then so it isn't much to brag about...

Not 1 six cylinder drivers name on the modified list. Lou Gentile is on the all time winners list.

I haver Swartzlander at 74 Lenerville wins, all in big block Modifieds. I show one less than the total the track has. I don't know if it is my error or theirs. I was going to get togethjer with Eric back when Brian was about to pass Lou on the all time list, but we never got it done. I can't recall Brian ever winning in a six-cylinder Mod, but would have to check my books to be sure. GOOD RACING TO ALL!!! Walt

Kevin (Not Bolland),

I suppose I am an asshole then, and so are all the WoO drivers who have crew members give them signals every lap during a feature. I still see how it would have any significant impact on a dirt race having a radio... It isnt like they have lap traffic to deal with every lap, or that the radio can help steer the car.

And no the 777 would not have went "straight into the retaining wall" his wheels were turned to the left, I still believe it was a racing incident.

They give hand signals because RADIOS ARE ILLEGAL. If they are not CHEATING, hand signals or signs are their only option. I dont even want to take the time to dumb this down enough for you to understand.
Kevin

Thank you Walt! Brian has never won in a six cylinder. I think he has only driven a six cylinder once or twice if I am not mistaken.
