my wife went into labor at pms with our son.1 week later he was at the races. been going ever since he is now 21. to answer your question. maybe a parent that could not afford a babysitter but still wanted to have a life. hope that helps.

Why do people take a 4 month old baby to the race track? Heck i've seen new borns a ton of times there.
