There is not really anywhere to put it. Guess mother nature wins.

So your saying if any of the big races get rain out, including the red miley race, they are not made up.

Could reschedule it for Labor Day, no big races in the area on that day.
Pretty sure they have a UFO race scheduled at Tyler on Friday aug 31st, which is labor day weekend & that's the weekend of the black diamond.

RMR RAIN DATE IS SUNDAY AUGUST 19.
We made the choice not to use the Sunday rain date with the Conner Bobik Memorial already scheduled for Sunday July 22 this past weekend.

Please note that I said run it ON Labor Day, which is a Monday. I think it would be a huge draw, there is a big show at Hesston Sunday which would give the regional guys who didn't go to Tyler an opportunity to run 2 big races that weekend as well. Sounds like a winner to me. Since PPMS has a regular show slated for Saturday just run the Lates and Crates on Monday night to get people out of there early to go to work Tuesday.

So the sunday rain dates are only going to be used if: no other big races are running so all cars can go to pms and
they feel like racing on a sunday i take it? I like your idea GearHead, would be something different. Maybe have creates at $1000 to win.

Was a class Act by UFo for not using the Sunday raindate. ULMS and UFo have a good relationship as we are both "regional" series that do try to work together and not conflict with each other on race dates. NOBODY wins when that happens.
What Chris said!
By the way, the RMR AUGUST 18th is a UFo versus ULMS event! Plus the 410 Outlaw Sprints join us!

I was NOT bashing, Bob, I was just trying to get Matt to continue thinking "outside the box" I too appreciated the consideration they gave by giving up the rain date, to honor Connor. It is something they have seldom gotten from other tracks, very often, but often give out to others. Those others know well my feelings on this issue, one reason why I have never gone to a Firecracker Race since the first one. and will never attend Fallfest, either, at the same track. Before everyone bashes PPMS for not running on Sunday it was a class act to not schedule against Dog Hollow, it was the Connor Bobik memorial ,which I had no idea what that was or who it was until i got there. I found out it was a 5 yr old little boy that had brain cancer, "make a wish" was there and had a lot of benefit stuff going on so hats off to PPMS and Hesston for not scheduling against this event. From what I understand they raised a lot of money, good job by all. It was a very moving event.
