[MROA Chaplain Bill]

I am sad to post this my/our good friend George Shaffer has passed away after a valiant fighith cancer ,George and his son Aaron were long standing racers at Mercer Raceway Park uitil Aaron moved and George became ill ,working on his car was always a delight he was such a gentelman and always told me how he prayed for Judy. He will be missed and so I want to ask the racing family to send your prayers to Aaron and his family. Welder/Chaplain Bill

I will always remember George with apron on doing something he loved, wrenching on his son's sprint car. Aaron I pray God grants you peace in this rough time, and may the memories of the time you spent with your Dad help ease the pain in time.
