There were 10 305s. I made my first trip up there in 2 or 3 years, and now I clearly remember why it had been so long. Four and a half hours to run a show is just ridiculous. There was an hour intermission to do track prep after heats for 50 total cars. That is absolutely unneccessary. The flagman was just awful and they took way too long to get cars lined up. I could see if they had full fields, but how hard could it be to line up 7 or 8 cars at a time? The racing wasn't terrible for such small fields, but the place was run by morons.

Every once in a while I like to give myself a chance to refresh my memory on why I don't go somewhere. That and its a good reminder on how good we have it other places. That said, boy do I miss Tri City on nice Sunday nights like that.

We made the trip to race purestocks. The surface was great and we had a great time racing with them. We will return someday soon.

There's always more speed! And you don't have to cheat to find it!

You must have been at a different track than i was. yes long intermission but the racing was good, the track was nice, other than a couple of problems with cars getting started all went well. you must have some animoity issues. just saying, the racing was good last night.

When do you think the complete results will be made available?

I guess reading comprehension isn't one of your strong suits? Did you miss the part where I said the racing wasn't bad? All of the monkeying around and taking 4 and a half hours to run a show with 50 total cars was a joke. No reason to rework the track after the heats at all, it was fine. And there was no reason they should have taken 5 laps to line everyone up after yellows and then once they got lined up they almost always took one or more extra laps before going green. A group off monkeys could have ran a show of faster then that. I love that track and always will, but that was just bad.

"no reason to rework the track" the track last week had a decent amount of bite in the heats but it was rough and had areas where it was beginning to turn over. Luckily the track crew rectified this situation by bringing out the grader and fixing it. I'm sorry you felt like it took to long but myself as a driver really appreciated their solid effort to give us the best surface possible. Next time go get yourself a hotdog or 2 and be patient. I've raced at 5 different tracks this year so far and the surface at sportsman's has been amazing lately compared to others. Now if we could just talk them into removing those tires in the turns all would be well in knox pa
