has anyone looked at the photo of the pure stock win from this past saturday night? nothing against either driver but if i were to call a race i think the 72 won that race. hell of a finish though.

absolutely the closest finish i have ever seen down there. 72 had one hell of a run off of 4. congrats to surra though. great runs by the both of them.

guess I should have built the front bumper just a little longer on the Lumina..lol good run Devin old "Baby Girl" still loves it..we won 36 features with the car over the years at PPMS..glad to see she's still going strong.

i think the 72 got it by an inch but on behalf that was the closest finsh i have ever seen congrats to the 3 on the win but a pat on the back goes out to both drivers on one heck of a race

We had as close a finish at DHS on 8-19-11 in the Pure Stocks the 2W & the 56. Check out the pic of that finish on DSB Photography. I will prob never be in that close a finish again. if that doesnt get ur heart pumpin you better hang up the helmet.

I agree you could call it either way. Impossible to judge with that photo only because the photographer was a hair past the finish line making it at a slight angle. If it was taken perfectly straight, the fact that you can see the outside cars nose would make him the winner. In this case though a true judgment call.... Awesome race!
