This Weeks FASTRAK Driver SPOTLIGHT - "LIGHTNIN" Lee Cooper (Four Oaks,NC) They don't call him "Lightnin" for no reason it matches the drivers character to a tee. I'm talking about the driver from Woodruff,SC and the current points leader in the 2012 FASTRAK City Chevrolet Touring Division Standings going into the 8th Annual $7,500 to WIN Pro Late Model Nationals Labor Day weekend at the 1/2 mile Wythe Raceway - Lee Cooper. He has had a phenominal career behind the wheel of any racing machine he's ever piloted starting at 14yrs old racing go karts to now moving up racing around the Country in the "Premier Pro Late Model Series in the Country" the FASTRAK Racing Series and has even excelled in that avenue as well. He has won it all from his teenage years taking over 300 Feature wins and the WKA (World Karting Association) South Carolina State Championship in 1998 to his outstanding career racing and getting Feature wins & Championships at "The Place Your Momma Warned You About" Cherokee Speedway located in Gaffney,SC beginning in 2002 to his 3rd place points finish in the points with the SAS East (Southern All Stars East Series) which is now the newly renamed in it's second year the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series which is proudly owned by FASTRAK Companies International who also own & operate the FASTRAK Racing Series all over the Country in many regions through out the United States from the Southeast, Mideast, Northeast, Canada, Mid Ohio Valley and Great Lakes Regions. To Top it off he is also a 3 time FASTRAK Southeast Regional Champion taking the $10,000 Dollars that comes along with it in 2006 and back to back in 2008 & 2009.
