And in case you missed it and it wouldn't surprise me that you would. Wheel base WAS checked and was found to be LEGAL.

Tag, Im it, the 80's caprice 2 door and 4 door use the same exact frame AND wheelbase 116". The 1s wheelbase was only measured as not to be shorter than 104" , I was there for that. the 911 is NOT a caprice frame, it is a 1976 Chevy Monte Carlo, Jason Youngs car #7 previously. And Mr Shater, yes the tech official did say that the 1s would not be allowed to run at hummingbird as to being illegal so I dont know why it was allowed back.

i do not know about the 1s car if it is isn't metric but i do know the 9-11 is a 1976 monti i was the last owner and know all of the owners all the way down to the builder of the car it was also gone allover last year by tech guy they checked the wheel base and and multipul other measurements and they said it was all good to go

Is the 1s car the old car that chad bender ran ? if it is the frame is a metric and the front a -arm mounts are off of an older non -metric chassis ,but i do not think that changes the wheel base it was built that way at rebel chassis. and i am not sure it is not legal to do that is it ? i knew of a car that ran at Marion center that was a metric car and they clipped it with a camaro stub to give it better front end geometry.

not trying to start any troble. I could care less if the 1s car runs or not but i do know that this car has been running the bird for years before kyle owned it and it went threw tek then. enless im mistaken this car was run by peat mackie. and was a good handeling car then and won some races then .i was at peats garage when kile bought it but i also ramber peat telling me he bought it from chad bender.

Jason, has it right. All this talk about the 1S being illegal is bunk. If you are getting your a$$ whooped, work on your car to make it better. Don't cry cheater. Heck it ain't like any one car is dominating the Pure Stock class. I think there have been 7 different winners... the 1S, 76, 73, 3, 1*, 78 and 42 have all won features and there have been some really close finishes every week. That is probably a wider range of winners than any other class.

And just so you know we have racecievers now and they let you know we are going green ,so his ears missed it too right !!!

I know racecievers are used. I know the leader does not "miss" the green flag. I also know that the leader "gets on it" as soon as he see the green. This being said, Then I have to wonder what was going on at this point. What I do know is Brandon, for whatever reason, didn't get on it as quick as he usually does. this is something to think about.

The leader has gone anywhere from barely into turn 3 to the exit of 4. The flagman starting the race would result in the mess seen at thunder mtn this year. Hummingbird has done a pretty decent job this year. I've complimented them a lot of nights and I've bitched about some others. Same as any track I've been to. Only thing I can say for sure.... Marion Center is certainly not the alternative! Been there 4 times. All have been crashfests and usually end up out of there about 1am. And tech? You complain about no tech and then suggest mc? Hmmm. And if you win you just might get enough to pay for your fuel for the night.

very competitive year in the street stock class and the year is not over.
the 3 of howell has been running strong, the 46 of challingsworth has been running good. might have a couple more guys taking their first wins of the year in the next couple races.

Seems to me that someone in the flag stand or the scoring booth needs to pull there heads out of there a$$es and do somethings a little less bias !!! In all the time that i have raced i have never seen the third place car restart the race after a caution !!!!
it was so obvious to everyone else but some how you guys all missed it right... i think not,
you all just ignored it !!! THINGS THAT MAKE YA SAY HMMM !!!

All the ladies and gentelmen know what to do, so I don't need to talk. Never knew I was on a radio. NEW to me!!! What track are you at???? Yes I am the flagman its my job. Do I have a swelled head about it ? NO But I am proud to do it. What the HECK do you think the Orange cone is for???? So I don't start it where I want to,, DUH !!! Seeing how you know more about me then I do, so you think. On a start or restart do all the drivers go the same speed????? NO!!!!! But the green is at the cone. I don't care how fast they go as long as they are side by side with in reason the leader can be ahead of the outside car. OR nose to tail. How about a cone on a rope. Real slow till you get to the cone side by side. Gee brains how are they going to see the green flag??? No passing till they pass the cone!!! So you can run your mouth all you want. BUT GET IT RIGHT!!!!!

chances of the flagman or scoring getting there head out of their asses is about the same chance as hell freezing over.

If the people scoring the races actually knew what it takes to get a racecar ready and to the racetrack week after week maybe they would think twice about cheating people out of positions and showing favortism, it really discourages people from wanting to race there. I'm sure the people up in the scoring booth have no clue how much commitment it really takes to get a racecar to the race track, not only in time and money but in all the other sacrifices that some racers make in their life just to be able to get their car to the track to put on a show (Without the racers there is no show). It really is ashame that they don't appreciate that and the fact that everyone pays the same to race and all should have an equal opportunity to race and to be treated fairly. In reality showing favortism is basically stealing from others because it results in lost purse money. Please, do me a favor and don't do me any favors, just be fair just because It's the right thing to do.

sorry mister flagman i forgot you call it a headset not a radio. so i do know you say things like i am the flagman i start the race. if i made as many mistakes at my job as you make i wouldnt have a swelled head either. so i believe i can run my mouth and GET IT RIGHT and prove YOU are FULL of it.

The leader is supposed to start the race if he doesnt when the cars get to the cone they can throw the green flag.
