Brian Swartzlander wins 5th of season, 77th of career and 7th Track Title
Kevin Schaeffer locks up 4th Ti22 Sprint Title, Danny Holtgraver wins feature
Michael Norris scores career first Lernerville/Precise Late Model feature win
Corey McPherson crown Champion, Chris Schneider wins in the Seitz #53

Sarver, PA (August 24, 2012) Brian Swartzlander needed only to take a pair of green flags to lock up his record tying seventh Track Championship, but he iced the proverbial cake by scoring his third straight Diehl Mods feature win; the fifth of the season, 77th at Lernerville Speedway and 150th of his career overall. Kevin Schaeffer secured his fourth Ti22 Sprint Championship with a strong second place finish to feature winner Danny Holtgraver. 2012 Track Champion Jared Miley was vacationing in Myrtle Beach while Michael Norris broke through for his first career feature win after passing Alex Ferree in lapped traffic mid-race in the Precise Late Models. The Millerstown Pic-A-Part Sportsman put on another great race with Chris Schneider scoring the feature win in the Seitz #53 over a hungry Joe Kelley. Corey McPherson secured his first career Track Championship by taking the green flag of the feature, but ran in the top five all race before finishing fourth.

What an exciting night of racing! The latemodel feature was one of the best races I've seen all year. What happen to Danny Swartzlander.... he has missed the last two weeks?

Congratulations to Michael Norris on finally getting the monkey off his back and picking up his first Super Late Model win at Lernerville. I believe he started 6th and steadily made his way to the front, using the high groove to perfection. He has been running very well at PPMS for the last two years, knew it was only a matter of time until his team figured Lernervillle out.

Chub and Bub were coming would have been interesting to see how that played out. But to finish first, you
Must first finish. Norris drove a flawless race!
Also flat tires to about 6 or 7 of the top 10 cars throughout the race.

McCool and Chub wouldn't have caught them if there was no yellows. I think Norris was the right car to win. Mat Williamson really came on towards the end of that modified race when the track started to slick off too.

Second the comment on Kenny. Heck of a run through the B to grab 3rd. The first half of the Mod Race was outstanding as well.
