Street Stock rules for Sept 8
KING OF THE KNOB STREET STOCK RULES
TOW HOOKS ARE MANDATORY, NO HOOKS, NO RACE
1. COMPETING MODELS:
a. Open to most American passenger cars 1970 to present with a minimum wheelbase of 104 inches and a full frame.
b. NO tube chassis
c. NO corvettes
d. NO trucks of any kind.
e. Ford and Chrysler products are allowed as long as they have a full frame and a minimum wheelbase of 104 inches.
f. No sideboards
Suspension
A. No modifications allowed to suspension components. B. Suspension parts must remain stock for the make and model of car. The only exception is the following:
1. Non-adjustable steel racing shocks are permitted. 2. Non-adjustable racing springs with a minimum five-inch (5¡±) diameter is permitted. 3. Stock length, Tubular upper A arms will be allowed. Stock length for Chevy metric frames is 8 inches, plus or minus ¨� inch.
C. Shocks may be relocated from inside of springs. However, only one shock per wheel. D. After market pan hard bars are not permitted. E. Weight jacks are permitted. F. Rear leaf spring cars will be allowed as long as the body style matches the chassis. Example: Camaro body style on Camaro chassis, etc. Leaf spring design may be GM or Chrysler multi-leaf. Sliders and adjustable lowering blocks will not be allowed. G. Other than brake bias, no other cockpit adjustable devices will be allowed. H. On rear coil spring cars, the centerline of the spring must be within six (6¡±) inches, fore or aft of the centerline of the rear axle tube.
I. No Rack and Pinion Steering
J. No Bird cages
3. WHEELS and TIRES:
Must be no softer than 32. Track durometer is official
a. Maximum 10¡± wheels
b. Maximum tread width 14¡± flat surface
c. Grooving and/or sipping is allowed
d. Softening rear tires by any means is ILLEGAL
e. 8¡± tread width race tire or smaller will get a 100 lb. weight break
5. ENGINES:
Engine option 362
362 rules
362 cubic inch maximum 0 tolerance p&g gauge will determine. If engine is in question cylinder head will be removed.
Motors may be no farther back than #1 spark plug in line with center of upper ball joint
Any production cylinder head allowed except listed below. Must have been used in production.
The following World Products S/R Torquer heads are permitted: GM #I-052 (60 cc minimum chamber), Ford casting # I-056. (55cc chamber minimum) No Iron Eagle heads. GM Vortec heads are allowed as long as they are in STOCK form and were used on a production vehicle (55cc chamber minimum). GM Vortec pn. 25534371 and 25534351 will not be permitted.
Fuel can be tested at any time
Roller camshafts prohibited
Roller lifters prohibited
Any intake manifold
Flat mechanical or hydraulic lifters only
3310s or oem quadrajet carb only
3100lbs if running 8¡± tire
3200LBS running any other tire but 8¡±
CLUTCH- Stock factory production clutch and flywheel or minimum 7 inch multi disc racing clutches permitted. Only steel disc and plates permitted. All cars must use explosion proof steel safety bellhousing. 1" hole in it for inspection purposes. If no hole you will be required to remove at any time for inspection.
Engine option 363+
Engines 363 ci or larger must weigh 3300lbs post race (any tire listed) must be no softer than a 32 on track durometer. Maximum 412 cubic inches
4412 carb only dimensions will be checked pre race no mods, must meet out of box specs.. Throttle bore and venturi¡¯s will be checked GO-NO GO GAUGES WILL BE USED Throttle bore diameter may be no greater than 1.6875¡�
Roller camshafts and roller lifters PROHIBITED

7. GM 604 Crate Engine:
a. ALL seals must be in place
b. ALL parts have specific number and MUST be in place
c. ANY single 4-barrel carburetor with a maximum 1¡± spacer (NO TOLERANCE)
d. Any transmission or clutch
e. 2,800 lbs (0.15)
Fuel
Any racing ¡°gasoline¡± except Oxygenated fuel, no additives no alcohol
Fuel can be checked at any time
No fuel fragrances allowed
11. SAFETY:
a. The following rules are mandatory and will be strictly enforced.
b. All cars are subject to inspection at anytime, and must be free from mechanical defects and be in safe racing condition. OFFICIAL¡¯S DECISION WILL BE FINAL!
c. It is highly recommended that all crews carry an operable fire extinguisher capable of extinguishing gas and oil fires.
12. ROLL CAGE:
a. Must be minimum 1 ¨�" outside diameter (1/8" wall thickness highly recommended), no soft metals (aluminum, etc.) allowed.
b. Mandatory six-point cage must surround the driver w/uprights mounted on the right and left sides of the frame behind the driver, one on each side. There are several allowable variations to this basic design, which are subject to the discretion of the technical inspector. His decision is final.
c. Four bars joining the four uprights in a horizontal plane and one (1) horizontal cross support above the driver¡¯s head must be at least two inches above helmet height of the driver when strapped in the car.
d. Front down tubes must extend to the front of the top roll cage.
e. There must be at least three horizontal bars on both sides of the car connecting the uprights on the driver¡¯s side of the car in the door cavity and at least one bar must be extended to the outer door skin for added driver protection. These bars must have at least one set of vertical supports between the uprights.
f. There must be at least three horizontal bars connecting the uprights on the passenger side of the car w/vertical supports between the uprights.
g. The right and left uprights in front of the driver must be connected with at least one horizontal bar at dash height.
h. Additional diagonal support bar on left side of chassis from top front of cage down to side. These are minimum allowable bar requirements and of course more are preferred.
i. All junctions of two or more tubes in the cage must be gusseted for additional strength with at least 1/8" plate steel gussets.
j. Threaded pipe, pipe fittings, lap weld pipe, soft metals like aluminum, angle or channel iron, and flush grinding of welds are not permitted.
BODY - Door must be welded shut. All glass must be removed and must have screen in windshield. Rear inner fenders may be altered for clearance but must remain closed to interior. Fenders must remain in tact but minor trimming will be allowed for clearance. Front inner fenders may be removed. All body parts must be in stock location. No homemade front ends. Hood and
trunk must be properly secured with hood pins. Carb and air cleaner may stick out from under hood but top of air cleaner can only be 3 inches (front measurement) higher than hood that will remain flat from fenders
Bumpers must be stock for the body and properly secured. No bars or rails or bracing permitted outside the body. Must have a full steel floorboard and cowl and be totally sealed. There must be a steel fire wall at trunk area to close off drivers compartment and it must be sealed.
Plastic bumper covers are permitted.
NO Late Model style Bodies permitted must be an OEM body or an aftermarket steel body that is the same as OEM.
Spoiler permitted maximum 4" high by 60" wide mounted at the further most point to the rear of the rear deck lid. No sides permitted on spoiler
Weights as listed above
362 option with 8¡± tire 3100 lbs
362 option with BIG tire 3200 lbs
363+ option with ANY tire 3300 lbs
604 Crate with ANY tire 2800 lbs
602 Crate with ANY tire 2700 lbs
EXHAUST - Exhaust must exit car parallel to the track, may not point down to the track.
Brakes
All four (4) wheels must have operating brakes. B. Calipers and rotors must be stock OEM steel. C. No plastic brake lines. D. Dual master cylinders with drop pedals are legal.

The race director shall be empowered to permit minor deviation from any of the specifications herein or impose any further restrictions that in his opinion do not alter the minimum acceptance requirements. NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM SUCH ALTERATION OF SPECIFICATIONS. Any interpretation or deviation of these rules is left to the

Since last week was rained out can you use arm bands plus the difference for this week???

Yes they will be good this week. NO refunds which is really great for the 3 classes not racing this weekend!
