ever since I joined a Sportsman crew two short years ago, I have fallen in love basically with the division. the car I crew for races at Lernerville weekly, along with Mercer on occasion. this past weekend's scheduled Sportsman/Stock Spectacular was rained out and got no make up date, yet the enduro did. I have made it to Lernerville all but 2 weeks for fab 4 and the Sportsman cars had the highest car count most weeks. I'm curious how the division that has the most cars most weeks doesn't get a second shot at being center stage.
you're joking right?

I wouldnt understand how he is. He does have a logical point. Many people scratch the division everynight, claiming its to easy or simple or boring to watch. But the true race fan realizes, even without the late model suspensions or sprint car $40000 engines, those stock cars put on a hell of a show, week in and week out. I believe it is easily the most cometitive division at lernerville. How many diffferent winners did they have this year? About 8 or 9...?

They cant do that because they send all of their employees to new york to get tracks ready for super dirt week. they leave right after the common wealth show and they come back right before the steel cityI agree with you Guy in the Pits, I'm pretty sure Lernerville could find a make up date, from the commonwealth clash to the stampede there is a whole month of nothing going on, they could at least find one of those Satudays to give you guys

Agreed. It's done and overwith. I'm not happy about it either but none of us, including Lernerville, can control the weather. Maybe in the future they'll make different decisions to help the Sportsmans division out but I'm sure most of us won't hold our breath. I'm still glad to have a good track/facility to race at every week that's close to home.

maybe they will. it is nice to have a track that's only 5 minutes from home. besides, going to Lernerville and working on the race car somehow keeps me sane week in and week out. by the way, awesome run this year, Jimmy!Agreed.
