He should have parked his trailer at the track like most of the racers do and he would'nt have had it stolen. They let you park it in the pit area for free and unhook if you want to to drive your truck . They even have security there to watch it. Why would you take a chance leaving it at the hotel.

so you are saying it's his fault for wanting to leave in the morning and go straight home ? the races were over, is that what they do at other tracks ? NO.. this is happening on a regular basis at this track !!!!!!!!! charges should have been pressed when they found out who had hammons engine !!!!!!!

WOW, let me guess, some of Glenn Styres cars blew engines over the weekend, what a thieving piece of shit. Probably has an employee at motel setting them up.

Is that standard procedure at every race track or just at that one??? Seems like I have seen race operations staying at local hotels in a lot of cases. Maybe they like to keep them impounded so they can scope out something they would like to have.....hmmmmm??

If i even had a race car you wouldnt catch me near that track. Then if i did one of my crew members would sleep in late the day of the race and when over get the H*** out of dodge. I cant believe the police in that area dont patrol that place with what has been going on there every year.

It's just really sad when you take your property to compete and entertain and you have to be so cautious about losing all your equipment to a perhaps a ring? And also be limited to tribal laws (NO outside law enforcement) so is it really worth it to take that chance?

Gene .........Would ron park his truck and trailer in that hotel parking lot after what happened to him? hell no he would'nt . Thats all I'am saying. Knowing that two vehicles have been stolen from there who would park there. Seems to me that is the only hotel that has this problem.A little common sense goes a long.....................................way.

Dirtfan20 I dont believe that there have been any thefts from this track as you are saying, I think all of the thefts are in Brantford 8 miles away and not on the reservation. I do believe that the theifs know when the circus comes to town as most theives do to plan thier attack. The same thing used to happen in tampa in February when everyone went to eastbay, you had to watch where you stayed. Like wrench said ,I know that's not where I would be parking my rig.

did not say "from" that track!!! but while running there! and if that motel has that big of a problem they should shut it down! inside job i think, why would you even want to stay there without race cars....i'm sure they steal other things? just plain and simple...they have hurt the rep there!!!!!!

The sad part is styres knew exactly who to go to this year to get the stuff back, were charges pressed ? did they get the rest of rutan and hammons things back ? can't keep letting these people go and expect it to stop.
