if your paper is arriving late, contact your congressman,or the USPS customer service online under report a problem or call 1-800-275-8777. (online seems to work better) this is happening because of the mail sorting center closings

Any other minor inconveniences you care to gripe about while you're at it? Your lipstick too shiny or too dull?

If at first you don't succeed, then maybe you just suck.

Real nice. You're obviously just trying to get my goat. I will not allow you to do it, ma'am.

All part of a plan that occurred during a lame duck session of Congress back in 2006. Required the USPS to pay in advance( something like 20 years in advance) for the medical benefits of employees. People that have benefits working to make sure others don't. Working against the USPS to destroy service so that poorly informed customers blame the USPS instead of those who are really responsible. And it works. And no, I don't work for and never worked for the USPS. Same for family members. Blame Congress again. Don't cancel your subscription, see how your congress person voted and vote accordingly. Too much work? Just grumble.

Mine was late too but this is the 1st time in a long time it has been this late and other stuff of mine was late too, so it ain't AARN's fault, it's the USPS's. But as rare as it is for this to happen to me I ain't gonna bitch.

Mine starts to be late around this time every year. Must be that they are paying more attention to getting out the early christmas shopping flyers!

Hi everyone!! I contacted my editors at AARN in New Jersey and they are very much aware of the problem with late paper deleivery here in the western PA area. They are working with the Post Office to solve the problem!! It appears to be a regional problem rather than a local one, but calling your local post office wouldn't hurt!! I have suscribed to AARN since 1964 and for decades have always gotten my paper on Thursday. However, something has gone downhill in the past six weeks or so as most of my papers have been late as well. My editor assures me that they are not doing anything different in the way of their schedule of mailing the paper out!! I know that during my years of writing for the local RPM RACING NEWS Dave Kittey had problems with the post office a couple of times and had to get after the postal officials. Hopefully the problem will be solved shortly as I like getting my paper on Thursday just as much as you guys do!!! GOOD RACING!!!! Walt

If they send it out on time, how is it their fault how long it takes the post office to deliver? It is the last racing paper left! I will support them even if mine is coming a little late. It's nice to get all the results in one place and not have to look all over the internet.

Squirrely Hilly You make a very valid point.... We have lost all our racing papers. I do enjoy the paper even tho it is late... I guess I over reacted and will have patience in hopes the problem is resolved. I do enjoy the paper and there are alot of great articles.

Honey......I have no idea where you live, but you must really have a rough nasty local post office!! I have suscribed to the various "trade papers" for over 50 years and at one time many years back used to get about a dozen of them from all over the country. I can't remember ever having any real problem with the condition of the papers when they were delivered. Yes, once and while I would get one that had a torn cover, but never "unreadable" as you state. I am sure whatever damage you have had has come from the post office, not the publishers of the paper, so you need to complain to your local post office. Walt
