I wouldn't put much stock in that Donny Schatz rumor...that comes up every year at this time and it never happens. Schatz likes spending TSR money instead of his own.

Not sure why they wouldn't wait until the end of the year to announce this, there's still 6 races left. Lots of options for KKR though, I'd go with a guy like Ian Madsen or Danny Lasoski if I was Kasey

Kasey Kane told Tim Shaffer he would be the next guy to drive his car a while back .. dont know how he could walk away from the people hes with now .. they kick butt !Not sure why they wouldn't wait until the end of the year to announce this, there's still 6 races left. Lots of options for KKR though, I'd go with a guy like Ian Madsen or Danny Lasoski if I was Kasey

I've heard it's between Mark Kinser and Tyler Walker. Whoever can snort the chalk line fastest at the National Open this weekend gets the ride for 2013!

they did say Joey is leaving after the 2012 season. and I agree with the statement that there are a lot of options for KKR. Danny Holtgraver, Freddie Rahmer, Jason Meyers just to name a few. I think the better question is where is Joey gonna go?Not sure why they wouldn't wait until the end of the year to announce this, there's still 6 races left. From my understanding the steel city outlaw sets up holtgravers car or atleast provides the info....if so why would kkr overlook a much more seasoned veteran who in MY OPINION still has another 15 to 20 WINNING seasons of talent and skills leftDanny Holtgraver to KKR
