Any chance for modifieds to be on the card? Do we know the divisions yet in general?

Why Saturday night??? It's bad enough splitting up the fans and cars between two Saturday night tracks close to each other now you'll have three tracks close to each other trying to pull cars and fans. IMO Friday would be the better choice.

Jeff said at the drivers meeting that he is looking at a 4 cylinder class, pure stocks, street stocks, a combined limited and super late model class. With a few sprint car races.

JMO.. Super Lates, Limited, Street Stock, Modifed (of any kind), Sprint (of any kind). Purestock and Four Cylinder Classes Are Losing Potential..but again thats JMO

I think Saturday night is definitely the right move especially with all the disgruntled drivers at Hummingbird. Let humminbbird switch nigts. As far as a pure stock class dwindling, or any class for that matter, make it more worth their while to be there and it will flourish. Who wants to race for $125 to win when it costs that just for 1 tire? So you buy 1 tire and are in the hole the rest of the night even if you win.

Heres the, deal dirt,i beleive this is a good move reason being, hopefully it will make these other tracks that run on sat nights step up to the plate and start paying a little better purses and maybe try a little harder to get the show in, JMO.

I agree Saturday is a great choice. It's the best night to run if you want cars. If Hummingbird starves for cars, let them switch to Friday if they want to survive. Best for everyone. And I agree, pay the racers and you'll get cars, treat them right and they'll keep coming.

as much as i would love to see the mods there (because they have been a staple at the place since it's birth) i don't think having any even show up for practice would help jeff's thoughts on passin on them.... hopefully he does decide to run some specials because as of now its just like every other track in pa....

We stopped over after the asphalt race. The track looked great! It is obvious how much work has already been done. There is certainly a lot of work that still needs done, but in my opinion, they have done a tremendous job so far! It was great to see Jeff walking around introducing himself and talking to everyone. It was great to see cars on the track again, and I can't wait till opening night next season!!! Good job and keep up the great work!!!
