When:Saturday October 20th..

Where: Thunder MountainSpeedway Knoxdale, pa ( GPS--Physical Location: 3807 Ramsaytown Road, Brookville, PA 15825 )

Time: Gates Open at Noon

Drivers Meeting : at 3:00pm then ( 2 lap warm-ups for each class )

Racing at 4:00pm

Rain Date:Sunday Oct 21st. ( same starting times)

FEATURING

This year things will be a little different due to the size of the racing surface.



Latemodels 50 Laps $50 Entry Fee

Streetstocks- 30 Laps-$30 Entry Fee

Purestocks - 20 Laps $ 20 Entry Fee

FWD 4 Cyl- 20 laps $20 Entry Fee





Payouts willbe comparable to last years, I will have them done shortly.

If anyone isinterested in Sponsoring a division for this year, all money will be added to that divisions purse.

Drivers will draw a pill when they register for their starting positions in their prospective heats.

Top 3 Driversfrom each Heat will redraw for starting spots for their feature event.



Running orderwill be:

Heats- SS -LM- PS

Features -SS- LM- PS

So you can choose your tires accordingly.

Please spread the word about our race, I will advertise what I can in this short time, but word of mouth will help out tremendously. Once again I apologize for the late notice.

50$ isn't that bad for late models entry. considering the majority of the entry money is probably going to be purse money

How many people think this race should be run later like maybe start at 6. This way maybe the track will hold up since it only had one race this year .What do you think Janey just a thought

It wil get to cold after the sun goes down , so id like to keep it earlier because there is alot of racing to do. I think the track will be fine.

Running order will be:

Latemodels must weigh 2350 lbs. SS 3100 lbs. (Top 10 cars scale)

LM- no sideboards, wings,fuel injection, or sprint tires must weigh 2350lbs.

SS - no sideboards, wings, fuel injection, or sprint tiresmust weigh 3100lbs

FWD – Bring your own TrackRules (Roll Cages must be solid and welded to the frame NO Exhaust Tubing; Carswill be checked at the gate! If your cage doesn't pass you can'trace! Radial Tires Only!!
PS no sideboards , no wings, no fuel injection. 8 inch Tires ONLY Must be a purestock bodied car. You CANNOT Use a streetstock and put 8 inch tires on it!

If you look back on Pit Pass, you will find some racing action featuring their Steel Block Late Models last year.

It kinda looks like Challenger with banking. I have never been there, so I am not sure bu the racing on Pit Pass made it look good.

Most guys that race there have steel block motors, I believe you could.

It is a hammer down track in the heat races; a crate may struggle early in the evening but when the night falls and the laps on the surface add up; the crate will be fine. As far as a steel block, what is the difference from them and the aluminum blocks? The weight advantage of the Aluminum is minimized with the 2350 weight rule. Come feel the Thunder

it's a nice track, good racing, show up and run it, you never know what might happen
