here's my opinion about the front wheel drives. just my opinion. i think that the fwd's would honestly put more people in the seats. just because the mojority of the fwd class is young guys, who's family wants to watch them race. if you give them 300$ to win, 200$ for 2nd, 100$ for 3rd and so on and so forth, you'll have a bunch of them. 90% of the cars from hummingbird, 90% of the cars from marion center, bunch of cars from out of the area, and alot of cars that only raced thunder mountain that have been waiting for their race. i'm not a big fan of the fwd's but they are racers just as much as anyone else and deserve a little appreciation. add up the cars that people on here said they were bringing. the fwd's usually travel in packs haha

modified have supported the area, cps and gamblers were both getting up to 20 cars a night and cps brought in some of the best around (Shawn Reimert, Brent Boyer) it's promoters that wont take a chance on them anymore...but you have fun with your jalopy rice burners who you only have because you can pay nothing for and no one will stay for anyways...Thats just plain Rude , you never have a good thing to say about anything, I guess when you hold a race and pay the purse you can decide what runs and what doesnt! The Chili 100 isnt a race for open wheeled cars it never has been. And I think we should support the cars that have supported this and surrounding areas.

Sooooo, your going to down-talk a class of cars and drivers who still put on a good show, still put more money into their cars than they should, and still pay the same entry fee, bring their own families and friends, buy their own food and drinks at the track, and still race for next to nothing? They deserve way more respect than you should ever get from anyone. They spend loads of time and money on their cars and racing in general. But for some reason you feel like they don't deserve to be on the card? You're an ignorant piece of work. and so far it doesn't look like many people are going to disagree with me on that. Have your own race, pay your own purse, invite your own drivers. Don't tell janney that her show is going to be a "joke" with fwd's. The Chili is one of the biggest races in our area. I love watching it, fans love watching it, and being cut to 50 laps is only going to make it better.plan on it now....

an opinion or thought process is one thing, being ignorant about a division that still puts on a show is another. i watched some really good fwd races this year, not saying they stole the show or anything, but they did good. i'm not playing them up at all, like i said before, i'm not a big fan of the fwd's, but these guys work hard to race and still put on a show for whoever stays to watch. who cares if it's 20 people. the point i was trying to make which janney saw, was these guys still pay an entry fee, as well as the crews that some of them do have, they still work hard, and she'll pull cars from all over. and they deserve to be appreciated in the aspect of being on the card for the chili race. racing is racing. and whether you want to believe it or not, the fwd class is the future of the sport. don't take that litterally because i know you will. what i mean is that alot of the guys in the fwd class are in fact beginners or young guys getting track time. learning the ropes. but they will eventually move up through the classes. some of them won't. but some of them will. so why not give them a race to look forward too at the end of the year?that's a cool story bro.....but find where i said any of that???? i said it was a joke because she wasn't going to have them and then just because 2 or 3 guys say they will be there she adds them...and anyways im sorry i forgot this is racestud where you can't have your own thought process...but i cant wait to read about all 100 fwd's and that show up and how they had the crowd on their feet (all 20 people that stayed anyways) based on the way you play them up...

good point. You are letting someone tha thas never done a dang this to help this sport get under your skin, a person that claims to be a fan but has nothing but un-educated garbage to say, dont let him get to you.

Most of the fwd guys at least the guys who run up front believe it or not have just as much time invested in their cars as any other class. Have you ever had to work on one. It is not like working on any other racecar. There is always 10 things to get out of the way to fix one thing. These guys spend alot of time and pay good money every week to race and usually get crapped on by idiots like you. They deserve to race as much as anyone. And if your honest you would agree that most of the time they bring more people with them and take way less time to run than any other class. For next to no cost for the tracks.what a joke.............

How long ago was that?modified have supported the area, cps and gamblers were both getting up to 20 cars a night and cps brought in some of the best around (Shawn Reimert, Brent Boyer) it's promoters that wont take a chance on them anymore...
So you do understand why they're included. You're acting like having modifieds or 4 cylinders is going to make or break this event as a crown jewel.but you have fun with your jalopy rice burners who you only have because you can pay nothing for and no one will stay for anyways...

How many modifieds said they would be there, butt nut?i said it was a joke because she wasn't going to have them and then just because 2 or 3 guys say they will be there she adds them
