We will be hosting the Second Annual Racers for Care Benefit in honor of "Cowboy" Brian Steinman on the 17th of November at Tiffany's Banquet Center in Brookfield Ohio. We will have cash bars and food stations, Live entertainment, Chinese Auctions, Raffles, and more! Stop out and meet your favorite drivers. So far we will have Brian "Cowboy" Steinman, Eric "Turkey" Williams, Jeff Taylor, Jack Sodeman Danny Holtgraver all stopping out to display their cars, sign autographs and hang out with some of the best race fans in the country! The benefit will start at 2pm. with entertainment to follow well into the evening! Tickets can be purchased in advance for $15 or at the gate the day of the event for $20. Tickets can be purchased from Mike Lutz (724-977-8071) Pastor Bill Beck (724-944-8397) or you can pick them up at Ursta Graphics in Sharpsville, Pa. Mercer Raceway Park Kids Club will be there with kids activities!!!! If you have any ideas of some kid activities that we could have the day of the event let us know!!!! ~MRP kids club!

After talking with my friend Bill Grimm ( he helped me with Cowboys Benefit) we will probably have some special items at this event to continue to help Brian as he works on his recovery with the help of all our race family we can and do make a difference.Please consider attending this event and supporting Hospice,Autism and Brian Cowboy Steinman rmemember for a blessing be a blessing. UPDATE: -Tim Shaffer and Frank Guidace just confirmed that they will be making the haul to display their cars! Most of the drivers will be bringing some gear / items for the auction as well! -Brent and Brandon Matus will be donating a framed autographed Brian Steinman T shirt to auction off. This t shirt was the first autograph Brian signed after his accident. A very sentimental piece for any race fan to have! -I just got back from the Banquet hall to hammer out a few details. We will have 3 live bands performing throughout the evening. The dance floor will be surrounded by the sprint cars inside... should be a pretty cool way for everyone to cut a rug! -The cash food stations will be serving Wings, Hamburgers, Chicken Sandwiches, Fries, pretzels and more. We are getting really excited for this event and hope that everyone will be able to make it out and have a great time! Thanks to everyone who is helping to make our event a success. I am looking forward to the Second Racers for Care Benefit Mike and I had great success with the first and look forward to the same with this event,you will have a chance to spend time with some of the areas best drivers and at the same time help out with a very worthy cause Racers for Care. While talking with Mike last night we were pleased with the response of the drivers and cars already committed to attend and know there are many more. I am so pleased to have Ryan Ursta joining with us this year I have not been able to put as much time in as last year and Ryan has been a great addition ,we are not the main players YOU THE RACE FANS ARE we only want to make avalible the opportunity for a ful filled day with the ultimate goal of helping others through the Racing family. Trusting all of the racers and fans for a sucessful day of care for those we love and care for Nov.17 th. 2012. Chaplain Bill
