That still dosen't help for the results for this year!!! I would think you would at least have the top five in each class!! How did you pay the guys without some kind of record??

Because I cant get ahold of so called super scorer! Yes I know what was paid out but the last 13 cars get start money I just paid them because that scorer left and never told us where they go, I have been trying to get in touch with her, I dont understand, she has scored for atleast 20 years. I cant even go back over score sheets , she took them with her when she split out the back door!
I do apologize for all this. I thought the scoring was covered there were 3 of them, I had to attend to other things all day nothing went according to plan that day. Mostly my fault for trying to do this in 2 weeks time, then rainout and trying to find people to cover spots for workers that werent coming sunday and of course for the one's who just didnt show up! Once again I do apologize. I will be better prepared for next year!
Janney

Umm, this "Super Scorer" you refer to isn't the one who split out the back door. She stayed until Janney at least had at top 14-15 whatever it was. The other scorer was who left and left the head scorer there to try and figure it out on her own.
Having scored for several years myself, I know it takes the team to complete the finish, if the back-up scorer had just waited and helped, this could have been avoided, but no, someone with years of scoring experience gets thrown under the bus for doing her job.
Put the blame where it belongs, that's on the woman who left, not the one who stayed until 1 a.m. on a work night!

At the beginning of the night you're source(s) are correct, I was terrible because I didn't have any idea who many of the drivers were. I have announced this race many times and I have always been given a drivers list for each class that included the drivers name, car number and hometown. For some reason this year it didn't happen and I took it for granted that it would and for that I apologize. We recovered quickly when I was able to get all of the registration for my lovely assistant (wife) :) to go through each of them writing all of the information down for me so I would have it.

Going forward when I have the opportunity to announce this race I will make sure I create my own list so this will not happen again.

No, we didn't, that was why I was asking. With the scoring stuff that went on, I figured it would take a little time. They have our address, made sure the driver filled it out.

That's a shame and just plain wrong.... You drivers showed up for this race to support them and their last minute deal and now they don't pay you. Very sad....
