Those of us that have been to this banquet for years notice the lack of passion and positives for all the drivers. Everything seems to revolve around the school and the schools schedule or jeff jarvis's schedule, to hell with everyone else. No jackets for the champion drivers like in the past, no nice picture for the champions like years past. no pit pass for the year to one driver, no fuel cell for the Jimmie Johnson hard luck award like years past. Only 3 champions got welders this year instead of all 4 like last year. they ask you to wear a tie and jarvis showes up in jeans and shirt. then to top it off 30.00 tickets. once again the drivers pay for the banquet. Now they say their going to shorten the season , maybe they need to sell the place , it seems like they dont want to run it, and lets not have the banquet till race season is over, like all the rest of the tracks do.I guess their reply would be IF YOU DONT LIKE IT DONT COME BACK, and i guess that is what alot of teams have done by the low car counts they get. Good luck next year I wont be racing there I am going to waynesfield. At least they treat you with some respect there.

When UNOH took the track over every one was excited about the progress they were making at the track and for the fans and drivers. But now its turned into class room 101. The only ones feeling the progress is the kids and their cars and Nascar. All their efforts are leaning in the wrong direction and the car counts are starting to show. Shorter season!! do they have other plans to do some thing with nascar? Look as of today Eldora is still running. Lets all hope they wake up before the only ones on the track will be the kids racing against theirselfs and Schrader, Wallace and the Dillons.
