Hey guys, I want to make the 2013 race even bigger than the first one. In order to do that, I'm beginning to work with PPMS now. 1) We are looking for products/manufacturers that the Pure stock guys use alot- obviously I know AFCO, Hoosier, AR, etc. But who else would you like to get involved for potentially contingency prizes or bonuses? QA1 shocks? What else is popular in this division? I know my emod stuff but not pure stocks too much. 2) Also, I'm thinking of eliminating the per lap leader bonus and paying more throughout the field. That's roughly $300 more to the purse. Thoughts? 3) How about the heats? Did you like $117 for the top 3 positions for 3 heats or put that towards the feature? 4) Keep the dash and the $117 bonus? 5) Lastly- keep the hard charger and hard luck, or put that $234 towards the purse? My biggest goal is to continue to pay through the field so guys aren't racing for $40 to start. I think we paid $125 for 20th this year. So let me know your thoughts. Thanks. Vince Laboon PS- any candid, confidential email can be sent to racer17v@yahoo.com

What about Simpson? I am sure there is a multitude of items that anyone at anytime could use from them.

Vince, my cousin works for a company in Charlotte called SRI ( supplies for the racing Industry) and Stock Car steel. He is also a racer. Im sure I can talk to him over the holidays about doing something, plus he was at the race this year and was pretty excited to see us win that race so Im sure we can work something out. My suggestion would maybe have the race on a Sunday event as to draw as many cars as possible, guys that race for points wont come to it. I know some Sharon guys would have came but it was a point night for them. If I can help just let me know. Bob

My opinion is use the standard Miley purse and put everything you collect on the winners share. I don't believe the last place car should make as much as the first as some others believe. I would also not take any additional money from the Miley's for the race and INSIST that admission prices are not raised for the event.
